Character SummaryIt wasn’t until his uncle, the villain known as Black Knight, lay dying in his arms that Dane Whitman learned he was descended from a line of warriors dating back to the court of King Arthur. Taking up the mantle of the Black Knight, Dane resolved to restore the honor of the family name. Over the years, he has battled evil witches and wizards across time and through the arcane dimensions. The paint job is not sloppy at all; the source of my complaint is the selection of the colors. This figure arrived in the mail, so I haven’t had the chance to compare this Black Knight’s paint job with other Black Knights, but the paint application appeared neat and clean. The gold was applied carefully on the helmet and shield. The red trim was on the right areas of the shoulder pads, body armor, gloves, boots, and shield. Now I know the colors are correct, but I’ve seen customizers make plastic look like real armor, and if this figure is supposed to be an armored knight, he should have been painted to appear like one. Instead he looks like a plastic warrior, but a great looking one!
