Package Description: A
"Erstwhile teammates and mutual friends of the freedom fighter CABLE, DOMINO and CANNONBALL are just two of the unique crew of mutants Nathan Summers has gathered around himself since his arrival in our timeline." This awesome Wal-Mart exclusive 2 pack arrives in a box with a see through window, similar to the Wal-Mart Silver Surfer exclusive. Gone are the days of the plastic clam packaging and so are the comic books.

Appearance: A-
Cannonball is one interesting figure. His body is a repainted Toybiz ML7 Ghost Rider.

The head is an awesome new sculpt, and captures the mature Sam Guthrie. No longer is he that country bumpkin from his early days as a New Mutant. The head works well with the ML7 Ghost Rider body. Sam was tall and lanky, and that is what this figure gives us. The figure has a ton of details and the upper jacket covering the torso is molded from soft rubber, similar to Storms cape, so it's got that nice leathery look. There is an insane amount of belts and buckles, but that's cause of GR's motorcycling background. Like I said, the body works for Cannonball. Unfortunately, the head goggles are sculpted onto the head; it would have been nice if they were removable.

Domino is another figure to receive the repainted body treatment. Her head sculpt is brand new, and her body is from the awesome Rogue figure from the Xmen Classics line. The head sculpt has a hairline that is a little too high, but the rest of the figure rocks! It took me about 10 to 15 boxes of these 2 packs to get a Domino without crossed eyes. She comes with two pistols and working holsters.

Articulation: A+
The Cannonball figure has about 37 points of articulation, which is great, but only because it was from a Toybiz body. Ball jointed head, shoulders, chest-shoulder joint, double elbow joints, forearm swivel, wrist joint, mid hand joint, ball jointed hips, double jointed knees, swivel shins, ankle joints, and mid foot joints. You can't get better than that these days! Because of the way these figures were packaged, I'm guessing most of the right legs of all Cannonball figures have a slight bend, but that's nothing a blow dryer or hot water can't fix.

The Domino figure also has about 35 points of articulation. I'm unsure about her head, it doesn't seem to be ball jointed, only swivel like. She's got the balljointed shoulders, double elbows, double knees, double torso joint, no waist swivel, ankle joints, and mid foot joint.

Poseablility: A
Both these figures pose very great due to the fact that they are old Toybiz designs. You may have to dip Cannonball's right leg into warm water because of the way they were packaged; the same goes for Domino's right leg as well. The joints on both seem to hold very well, which means great poses for everyone. There was a slight issue with Domino's hip joints because of paint, but again you can use that warm water trick to fix that.

Final Judgment: A
This Cannonball/Domino 2 pack is the better of the two Wal-Mart exclusives. Hasbro's repaint scheme works, and proves that they can produce respectable figures while saving money on redesigning joints. Domino's hairline is a bit high, but the body makes up for it. If you don't have this Wal-Mart 2 pack yet, go find one, it's well worth the $19.95 they are charging.
