it seems like they are starting over with marvel cartoons like in 90s, FF, Spidey, Iron Man, X-men, they are all coming out again

Thats a good thing!

I looks like what I'd expect.

Do not expect major tweaks to the design if this is the promo image that circulating.

They have locked in that design at this point and if the show is in production, they are not going to change it.

Animation is very cognizant of "pencil mileage" meaning the amount of detail on a character.

The more lines and detail, the harder it is to animated traditionally, and this series is hand-drawn by the looks of it. I'd have half-expected a Iron Man cartoon to be CGI, but traditonal is probably easier to crank out.

Since this probably won't be out until spring 2010, I can wait. Just look at how long it taken Marvel to get every other animated series out.

If its an image from a magazine, it means its been shopped around at least since the lead time for that issue with the image in it, likely 6 months to a year prior. That tells me that the series could be in production already, with a air date for this fall. That is my SPECULATION though based on how these kinds of shows debut in relation to the movies they ride coat-tails on.

Its probably coming out of a studio in Europe, likely Moonscoop in France, as they did the Fantastic Four cartoon.

Well, I think the picture looks good. And it will probably take a while before the series perimeres, so design tweaks could happen before the series perimeres. I think the main focus for most people in terms of Iron Man right now is the upcoming movie at the moment, so I don't know if that has an influence on some of the negative comments on the picture of the new animated series.

There is so much negativety here. For gods sake all you see is a picture, not even a full one an you complain. How about waiting to see the trailer before you complain about this. You can't tell much from the pic,but i think it looks good.
