Found the following four packs of Iron Man Superhero Squad Figures and a limited edition Red and White Iron Man Repulsor Red Prototype at Target in San Jose today....New Iron Man Figures (Target in San Jose)
I'm sure this has been asked and re-asked, but once more, are these actually coming out on the 22nd officially, is it a big release like Star Wars: Episode III or Spider-Man 3 where every store has them out on that day, or is this just a day where stores could theoretically put them out if they have them in stock or care? I don't want to waste gas on running out tomorrow only to find nothing. Just Picked up the Mark 3 Armor at the local TRU and got War Machine in a big aisle display in Walmart. Kinda like what they did for the spiderman movie. Mark 3 was the last and only figure and TRU, and Wal Mart only had the War Machine. had a bout 30 of him though. Good overall figures, though the Shoulder pads are not fixed (as shown by the pix of the mark 2 and 3 loose wearing a shoulderpad on their head in the above listed marvelous news link) and therefore god awefull as they pop off everytime you try to pose the figure. And I too am waiting for the open cockpit Iron Monger. Also want the snap on armor and Titanium Man. Here is hoping for a Crimson Dynamo in later releases (please, need more IM villains). syd - 2008-03-22 @ 10:48 pm
I didn't want to open up another Iron Man thread but did you guys see how much these "vintage" (5 inchers) Iron Man figures are going for? (link) (link) yeah dude, i totally noticed that earlier today. pretty insane. i think you can probably be close to getting a ML Series 1 Gold or Stealth Iron Man for that kind of dough. i also noticed that the scalpers are keeping busy. one seller had 5 or 6 auctions up all selling the Target and Wal-Mart Iron Man exclusives for like, 30 bucks a piece. and the suckers just eat it up.

Still fantastic looking. Can't wait! Now, I've been hearing that the Iron Monger has next to no forward movement in his legs do to his action feature. However, I see in the pics that the open cockpit variant seems to have different articulation in the hips. At least, it seems to. Looks different to my eyes. Has this been confirmed someplace already? Does anyone know for sure? I want to know which one I should shoot for. For the "action feature Monger", his left leg sorta rolls forward. His leg that triggers the swinging motion does not. But he has knee and ankle joints on both legs.
