Rumors about Activision's upcoming sequel to their Marvel Ultimate Alliance game continue to swirl around the internet. The latest rumors come from an apparent leak of a survey from the company called Intellisponse which tries to gauge the level of interest players will have in a games upcoming features. In the leaked information which has not been confirmed by Activision it states the following:
"In this new Marvel Ultimate Alliance action role-playing game, Civil War erupts and the world's greatest heroes and villians must choose sides. Select your side in the conflict and assemble your team from a roster of over 20 Marvel Legends, including the Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Venom, and the Human Torch. Combine your team's power to create new unique ones that transform your favorite Marvel superheroes in unexpected ways, such as fusing Spider-Man's power with Storm's to give Spider-Man lighting webs. Expermentations can lead to discovering multiple fusions and different roads to success. As long as i can play as Phoenix, Shadowcat, Emma Frost, Hawkeye, Venom, Rogue, Human Torch and Magneto, i do'nt give a damn what it's about, what you can do, and all the other characters :rogue:
the game is not based around cival war it is just about doom again he is attacking the major citys of the world and u need to stop him again thats all i know and there is 32 characters

as much as i want to love this game, i dont think i can. I have a bad feeling that this game will focus way too much on the stupid 'fusion' concept.
I just want to beat up villans with the characters own powers, damn it!
The new trailer looks interesting. I hope that the SHIELD screen that says "source of attack: Latveria" doesn't mean Dr. Doom is the main villain yet again. It's cool that Iron Man has the Extremis armor and I hope he has a Uni-beam attack rom his chest and repulsor rays (more like Cyclops' beam and not the pulses he had last time).
