Why does spidy need a jet car thing. He hardly goes any where.

I think if they ever make a ride for spiderman it should be the japanese mega zord thing

he drives in the tv show.

I think they look alright, but they're not really my thing. The jet looks like it has some customizing potential, and the car looks like Spidey webbed up Iron Man's new ride.

 

My question is, why would a "hyper-sonic" jet be designed with an open cockpit?

Kids will love 'em, but I cant see too many collectors wanting either of them (obviously).
