August 29, 2008
This September 2nd, Marvel Enterprises and Lionsgate unveil the DVD and Blu-ray Disc debut of a new generation of super heroes in the Marvel Universe – Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow. Make way for the rebirth of Earth’s mightiest crime fighting organization as the children of the original team join forces in this new epic animated feature with greater kid appeal than ever before. Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow marks the very first PG-rated movie in the history of Marvel’s animated features franchise and will be available on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on September 2, 2008 for the suggested retail prices of $19.98 and $29.99, respectively.

The new film introduces a younger generation of heroes: orphans bound only by their parents’ former alliance known as The Avengers. Fostered by the misbehaved billionaire bachelor Tony Stark (aka Iron Man), four amazing teenagers with lineage to some of the most revered heroes of all time including Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther, Wasp and Giant Man suddenly find themselves the earth’s only hope in stopping a deadly foe. With the help of Marvel juggernaut The Incredible Hulk, the team will hone their powers and go head to head with the very enemy responsible for their parents’ demise.

Before the DVD comes out next week, head over to ENewsi.com to check out their review of it and see what they thought about it.

I just watch it and it rocked. I didn't fall asleep the first time i watch it like when i watch Avengers 1 & 2, and Ironman. Like Dr. Strange this was action packed. Hulk vs. Thor looks like it will be good. I love to see them do a Defender movie and Alpha Flight. :profx:

Man, you all are harsh on just about everything. Anyway, I liked the movie and I'm glad that they're making stuff for us(fanboys). Yeah, they tried to write this one young but it still had enough action in it to satisfy. That was my two cents so commence bashing guys. haha

It was OK - it's obviously geared at kids but it's a cartoon afterall. Was I the only one who laughed out loud when Hulk gets hold of the Iron Widow? Lol

I think it looks some what like a descent movie. I dont like the kid thing because if your

mom and dad were like the best fighters around and the couldnt take down a villian.

How are the kids suppose to be better than their parents.

learning from there mistakes

They could learn from their parents but also I doubt like a 8-10 year old is going to be

as strong as like a 30 year old warrior. But they do have Hulk and ironman on their team.

yea, this is just probably another stunt ,by marvel, to get some more money.

Yeah tell me about it.
