Marvel Select Wolverine

I'm a huge Wolverine and X-Men fan, but I have to admit, I am not too enthusiastic about the sculpt, we'll see when it comes out, plus there is the variant (first appearance). Regardless, I will buy both for my collection.

The reason he is being made is it will be released around the time of the Wolverine movie, so expect a lot of Wolverine items, this is just the beginning.

you guys are so funny, i mean this wolverine is awesome and why should ms only do the figures that are missing in your ml collection? those are different companys and lets face fact, wolverine sells a hundred times more then nimrod or any other b list character. ms just wants a piece of the cake for once. thats why they did hulk, thor and now wolverine. they wanna see some cash. nimrod would be cool do

Don't get me wrong I suppose it makes perfect sense commercially as you say more people recognise Wolvie than a white and pink robot - I just thought the reason Diamond had released such obscure characters in the past was because they were targeted for specialist outlets like comic shops and they complimented the legends so well.

Now I think about it mind, WHY do I want a pink and white robot after all...

it's looks pretty good, but my finel judge will be when they add the aticulation, i could think of atlist 20 other chareters they could do, but wolverine have a soft spot in my heart :wolverine2: .

Sewriosuly though, the ML3 Wolvie is more Select scale and articulation so I don't see the point of him released in the same costume at the same height. I thought the Select line was intended for the more obscure or bulkier figures like Thanos, Brood, Mephisto, Watcher etc.

I love Wolverine, but damn, who asked for this? There's no other figures Select could be making right now? A classic Wolverine tops their list and HAD to be made before they could consider anyone else?
