This is Genis-Vell, not Mar-Vell. He wore this costume in the Peter David written Captain Marvel series when he joined the Kree Military. Mar-Vell's original Kree uniform can be seen on this site under the article about Marvel Legends 2-packs wave 2. This is a great looking figure from Marvel Select, and a must have for me, but the write up on the character is completely wrong.

That is an awesome looking figure!

Marvel Select has come a long way from selling basically statues to decently articulated figures.

Now if only the ML Ares BAF looked that good.

Wonder if they will ever release a Terrax, a Super Skrull, or a Blastarr to compliment the cosmic awesomeness of Mar-Vell?

Just wish that the diorama looked a little better. I know it is supposed to be a crash ship, but it looks like a broken mirror and a damaged pipe.
