Aint that something...

Also, called a Guinea or Diego (pronounced Daygo - its italian not spanish)

wife beater, Guinea tee (from guinea, an ethnic slur against Italians), also called the 'diego tee'

They have been around forever, i know my grandfathers both wore them when i was a little kid (over 30 yrs ago).

wife beater: proper name tank top. Made popular in the 1980's by GI Joe/ WWF character/ wrestler Sgt Slaughter.

The wife beater unites all races. IT doesn't matter the colour of your skin or the number of teeth you have, usually very few, and more likely than not, the hillbilly pulled from his home on Cops for beating his wife will most likely be wearing a wife beater.

i'd rather wear a wifebeater than a v-neck or a turtle neck.

I'd rather BE a wifebeater than wear a turtle neck.

:)

hahahahah. good one. me too!

i agree.

I first remember hearing my friends mention picking up a wifebeater pack on the way home and I thought ''wtf''. That was like 15 years ago and it's even more common now. My grandmother even calls them that haha.
