Marvelous News' Q&A With Hasbro's Marvel Brand Team

Hasbro’s Q&A with the Marvel brand team members returns this month with a new batch of questions and answers. If you would like to submit a question for Hasbro to answer about their Marvel Line, head over to our FORUMS and post it for possible use in a future Q&A session.

Marvelous News: There are several figures in the Marvel Universe line that seem to suffer from scaling issues. For instance the Magneto figure in the newest comic packs seems to be shorter than the Cyclops one even though Magneto is not a short character. How important is making sure a characters scale is accurate with that of the comics and what steps do you take to insure that each figure gets made so that the scale is accurate.

Hasbro: We work to ensure that the scale of the characters is as accurate as possible.

MN: Will the recent purchase of Marvel by Disney impact the relationship with Marvel and Hasbro in anyway in the near future (like within the next 1-2 years) and if so how?

Hasbro: Not at all. Hasbro still has the rights for all of the Marvel properties through 2017 and we will continue to work closely with the Marvel teams to produce great product.

MN: Originally you guys had stated that you would be announcing two additional picks from that Marvel U Fan Choice Poll during SDCC that was run after Toy Fair, but I don't recall any announcement being made. I'm told one figure was shown at SDCC, was that figure Cage and when will you be revealing the others?

Hasbro: The runner ups were not announced at SDCC. These will be announced before the end of the year.
