Bable's Adriana Barraza Joins The Cast For Thor

Reuters is reporting that Mexican actress Adriana Barraza is in negotiations to join the cast of Marvel Studios' "Thor," being directed by Kenneth Branagh.

Barraza who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in 2006's "Babel will join the cast which includes Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba and Kat Dennings. Details are not clear on what exact character Barraza will play, but it is being reported that she will be a human one, as opposed to an Asgardian.

Thor was originally slated to be released in theaters on May 20, 2011, but just earlier this day it was announced that the movie would be released 2 weeks earlier on May 6.
