IGN interviewed Chris Evans and asked him what he did for his audition for "The First Avenger: Captain America."
"I didn't actually read for it." "But I knew a lot of the guys at Marvel. We had an existing relationship. It's just luck. It just came my way."
So Marvel signed Evans for "Captain America" and nine possible sequels and spin-offs and this guy didn't even read a single line?
I am going to predict that this is not going to be one of Marvel's best comic book adapted movies. Take Iron Man for example... Marvel got Robert Downey Jr. for these movies and the movies are close to being the top money makers for the company. Why? Because Downey is a big name actor with experience and take a look at the rest of the cast that has been Iron Man 1 and now Iron Man 2. Now I got nothing against Chris Evans and I'm sure he was good in both Fantastic Four movies but if Marvel are going to select Actors because they are buddy-buddy with them than you know they are not that serious about the movie. Am I right or am I wrong? Sounds off below...
