Shane Black Talking With Marvel About Helming 'Iron Man 3'

THR is reporting that Shane Black is a front runner to direct 'Iron Man 3' for Marvel Studios. It's not 100% definate but Marvel and Black have been talking back and forth about the third installment in the blockbuster franchise.

Marvel isn't releasing anything when it comes to 'Iron Man 3' including the story direction. The only thing we know for certain is that Robert Downey Jr. will return in the title role and the movie is set to be released on May 3rd, 2013.

Jon Favreau directed the first two movies, announced in past months that he was departing the franchise.
