The blue cover features the young Charles Xavier, Professor X (James McAvoy), lent sturdy support from Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and Hank "Beast" McCoy (Nicholas Hoult).
The second (red) cover boasts Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Emma Frost (January Jones) and Nightcrawler's teleporting dad Azazel (Jason Flemyng).
Subscribers, meanwhile, can balance their peace-loving and direct-action-advocating sides, with a cover showing both Professor X and his frenemy Magneto in Matthew Vaughn's film.
EMPIRE also caught up with
Deadpool and
Wolverine producer
Lauren Shuler Donner who tells them that the new Deadpool movie which will star actor Ryan Reynolds will be a total reboot of the character, and what we saw of the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine will have very little to no impact on this movie.
"a total reboot. We're either going to pretend that didn't happen, or mock it, which he could do."
Donner also talks about how the next Wolverine movie which has a script written by Christopher McQuarrie will have lots of action and be remain very true to the mutant's Japanese saga as told in the comics.
