As most Marvel fans know, one of the fun things about going to see all these Marvel movies for the first time is looking for the cameo appearances of Stan "The Man" Lee in them, the man responsible for creating most of these characters we now see on the big screen. Stan most recently appeared in Thor as a truck driver, and lets not forget his appearance in Iron Man as a Hugh Hefner type character. Of course Stan hasn't actually appeared in every single Marvel big-screen movie. I don't believe he was in X-Men Origins: Wolverine or any of the Punisher movies. He wasn't in the Elektra movie either, which honestly can you blame him for not wanting to be in that one?
Well now we can add another movie he won't appear in, X-Men: First Class. According to recent tweets on his
Twitter page, due to the filming taking place to far away he won't have a cameo in it.
"Incredible as it may seemeth, NO CAMEO doth appear of thy beloved Generalissimo in “X-Men 1st Class!” I pause whilst thy shock sinketh in"
However for those Stan Lee fans out there disappointed by this news, worry not because Stan has confirmed he will have cameos in both Captain America: The First Avenger and Amazing Spider-Man movies which he has already finished the filming on and plans on having a cameo in the Avengers.
"But know ye t his, I have already completed my roles in Captain America and the new Spider-Man, so all is well in Cameo Land.
Next up--The Avengers. Unless they shoot it on the Moon nothing shall keep thy leader from making his awesome presence known! Excelsior!"
