Marvel Going Forward With 'Dr. Strange'

Writers Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer have turned in the latest draft for Marvel Studio's feature film version of "Dr. Strange" and Marvel is looking to go forward with the feature.

Marvel Studios is preparing a short list of potential directors for the project based on the character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the film would focus on Doctor Strange, the story of an arrogant surgeon who is injured in a car accident and goes on to become the Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel universe. Using his magical powers Strange protects the earth from attacks from other realms.
