Marvel Universe "Avengers Assemble" Figures With Light-Up Bases Wave 1 & 2 Info

September 27, 2011
The first wave of Toys R' Us exclusive 3.75" Marvel Universe "Avengers Assemble" figure with light-up bases have started to hit shelves. The first wave which was revealed back in July at SDCC consists of Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, and Bucky Cap. They are retailing for $20 each. On the back of the packaging of the wave 1 figures you can see blacked out silhouettes for wave 2 which looks like will consist of Steve Rogers Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Black Panther. Once you have all 8 figures you can connect the bases together to form a giant display circle. The first wave consists of all repaints and is unknown if wave 2 will also just be straight repaints, but that seems to be the likely scenario. Thanks to Juan for posting the images.
