As I display the characters loose the packaging isn't an issue for myself.
Disappointed with no stands as I quite liked them although I never understood the numbering format e.g. 001 instead of just 1 and so on.
Character art piece has no interest for me.
I agree with an earlier post why can't you just have the character, stand and a file card.
Is that too much to ask ?.
I'm glad there are some X-figures here and in some of the waves coming later next year, because it's starting to look like the Avengers have clear dominance here. I'm like, "cool, Psylocke will be a good addition to my X-characters," but then Patriot will get added to the Avengers group at the same time. Storm and Iron Fist will also cancel each other out.
I was thinking about that too, I was looking at my avengers (past and present) and they far outnumber my xmen. So I'm glad to be getting some new ones to add to the fold.

oh yeah, I forgot to mention IronFist's pose... it's pretty redonk.
I loath figures put in action poses inside the package
and he is gonna stick out like a sore thumb. You have all these other figures standing normal, and then BAM! her is Ironfist looking all kinds of crazy

Yeah, I don't like the action poses either. The recent action-posed figures are the only ones I've ever had loose joints on before.
okay, I get it that there are costs that have to be cut but c'mon man!!! This wave is so inconsistent. At first, the figures were good but still left much to be desired. The packaging was awesome and they had file cars for everyone. Then as the figure quality increases, the more we lose in packaging and accessories. no more file cards, no more figure stands. Now, the figures are awesome, and the card art is simple and cartoony. I don't want much. Just a quality figure, a stand and maybe a file card! who cres about a comic card. ...and whats up with Ironfist being packaged in an action pose. I've noticed that when figures are packed this way, their joints become very loose after being removed.
If the little mini-art art like the old SHIELD cards used to be, I can live without stands. I'm mostly leave them MOC and the opened stuff I do have I find the Hasbro stands are too large to work into a cramped dio.
I won't miss the stands, as I hardly ever use them, and I have more than enough from the past 4 years of Joe and MU figures. The design of the MU stands always bothered me, too. I don't like how they included the number on the stand. They were nowhere near as classy as the GI Joe 25th stands imo.
I do still miss the file cards.
Are these new pack-ins mini-comics or are they just covers?
I used to love when I was a kid and all of the He-man figures had pack in comics. Hasbro/Marvel could probably put a cheap-quality 8 page mini-comic that introduces people to the character for less than the cost of a stand or pin or cover whatever.
Or better yet, they could do a one page Wednesday comics style comic strip on one side (use Fred Van Lente's Marvel Origins for material) and then on the other side put a classic cover or poster picture or something. But put something in there for the average kid who picks one of these figures up at retail to get to know the character.
