Avengers - Mystery Villains Revealed?!? *SPOILERS*

If you caught the new Avengers Super Bowl spot that aired Sunday night on NBC then you may have caught a glimpse at the mystery army Avengers arch-villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was referring to in his conversation with Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr).



Many have speculated that Loki would be teaming up with an Alien race of shape-shifters known as Skrulls in the Marvel Universe, but based on this new footage, it seems more likely he is teaming up with a race of beings we've already seen in a previous Marvel movie, and one Loki has direct ties to, the Frost Giants which debuted in the Thor movie. “Marvel’s The Avengers,” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures. The film is being produced by Marvel Studios' President, Kevin Feige, and executive produced by Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Jon Favreau, Patricia Whitcher and Louis D’Esposito. Marvel Studios’ Jeremy Latcham and Victoria Alonso will co-produce. The film will be released May 4, 2012.
