It's amazing how much better it looks with just accurate hair and updated paint apps.

It's an interesting one because I can't tell if it's the same head shrunken down a bit and repainted with the photoreal, or the same head but shrunken down and modified a tad here and there. Whatever the case, you're right, it's incomparably better!

Got Green suit Quiksilver today. I didn't think I wanted it, but when I took out the Family Matters version....yeah. Crystal's not ditching Johnny for that guy, lol; I'd believe she would for the other guy in green.

Spidey Unlimited and Kaine from Amazon. Hunted down the remaining parts to wrap Zabu up.

The X-Men '97 Cyclops has the old effect. Different head sculpt from the Bucky Cap Cyclops but same plug in for the old effect piece.

I watched the review (MCU Collector's) and he did try and and said it didn't work that well, but later in the review he realized he had it upside down on the new Cyclops figure. He never went back and rechecked on the older figs.

When I get a chance I'll do a test for you.

Ahhh good info! It's super cold here right now, so when she was delivered at 7pm and I got her out of the package she was still frozen. Didn't really pose her or change out hands or heads last night for fear of her breaking. But yeah she seemed taller. Really happy with the figure though. Easy repaint, blue, and switch the sash and they have an actual Ms Marvel for us. I was trying to switch the sash, but you'd have to cut it or take Warbird apart to do so.

If you want to move the sash, I think the easiest way to do it is to put Danvers Warbird/Ms. Marvel in hot water up to her waist. Her legs should just pop right off so you can slide the sash off. Then, before she cools too much, just pop the legs back on. It should be very simple.

I loved Danvers Ms. Marvel. She's my favorite Marvel character and the figure is amazing (I have more of them than I'm going to admit), but Moonstone Ms. Marvel is an improvement in most every way. She has better shoulders, a better torso, and her colors pop more. They are both great figures, but I'm blown away by how much I like DA Moonstone. I'm also a little annoyed because I wish Danvers Ms. Marvel used this torso and shoulders.

She is not the same.

The torso is completely different and vastly superior. She also has different legs (she's missing molded boots).

Honestly, I think Moonstone Ms. Marvel might be my favorite Marvel Legends figure.

Finally got my Dark Avengers Ms Marvel figure. I know she's the same figure as Warbird, but she seems quite different. The mask and no pupil eyes really make it look like a new face. Really happy with her.

I can do that yes, with this new effect, but I actually don't think I own any Cyclops with the old effect (not sure Ha!), I only have a very few Cyclops figures. (I only have Love Triangle, 97 & AOA..don't think any of those came with the old effect, I can't recall)

although I'd be surprised if a reviewer didn't do this yet?
