Those props look really cool. I like how he used the vault door from "The Bank" Extreme Set to make Kingpins lair entrance.
Nice one Darcreign, you can almost feel the room shaking with big Wilson Fisk bounding across the floor to squish that meddling fool Spider-Man. Thanks
And to the Marvelous News crew, thank you for launching this "Photo of the Day" feature! It is, by far, my favorite aspect of your site! And that's saying a LOT because I really, really love your coverage of Legends lines that are hitting the shelves and coming in the future! Whomever had this idea, please give them a raise!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I just LOVE this Kingpin BAF wave! This beautiful diorama could take place "just one panel" before one of my favorite Spidey covers of all time: Amazing Spider-Man #84 from 1970. That fantastic cover, drawn by the incomparable John Romita, features the Kingpin literally pulling the rug out from underneath Spider-Man! This photo could be that scene just two seconds before Mr. Fisk grabbed the carpeting! Thanks for sharing your talent!
Already commented on this over at TNI, but I continue to love the level of detail you put into your sets and backdrops. While anyone can pose a figure in action, yourunique settings truly bring the scene to life. Great work!
