Marvel Legends 2004

We recap our coverage of our Marvel Legends coverage from this years 2004 International Toy Fair.

The 6th assortment will be released in June/July 2004. It will feature two figures with repainted variants which will be replacing the chaser type figures that had shipped with previous assortments. This assortment includes the following:

The 7th assortment of Marvel Legend figures are due out in September 2004. For variants look for a semi-tranlucent Vison figure. Though not yet confirmed there is also a possibility that there will be a Orginal Ghost Rider variant with a Johnny Blaze Head. The figures slated for this wave are:

Weapon X (With Alternate Head & Experiment Tank)





Silver Centurion Iron Man W/Removeable Rocket Thruster





Hawkeye W/Dreadnaught Skybike & Ant-Man Riding Arrow Based From The Cover Of Avengers #223

Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider W/Bike (The front of the bike comes off and forms a sheild)

The 8th assortment will round out the year of Legends. In this assortment we can possibly expect to see a Black Widow variant with blonde hair. Also this assortment will include the first Marvel Ultimate character in the Marvel Legends line. Look for this in November/December. This assortment will include the following figures:


Iceman w/Frozen Sentinal Hand (the figure shown at Toy Fair was just a mock-up and subject to change in appearance)



Editor Note: With the release of Iceman you can now take Phoenix(ML6), Beast(ML3) Cyclops(XMC1) and Archangel(XMC1) and re-unite the Orginal X-Men.


Storm (Will come with a cape not shown here)




Man-Thing (Look for Man-Thing to hit the big screen which would explain him reaching Legend status, we don't think all the fame will go to his head.)




Doctor Octopus (Who will have articulated tentacles giving him a total of 76 points of articulation.)




Black Widow




Modern Ultimate Captain America (Show at below are pictures of a 2-up for this figure.)
