@Lord_Scareglowyeah it doesnt really phase me as I have no interest in building the New Warriors team, but I do think its a bad move releasing team connected figures in this way.

When I first saw this figure I thought it was more or less inaccurate, since from my recollection he didn't have shoulder pads when he was in Red, but seeing this I guess in some instances he did, so that's at least nice, this figure isn't just a slap dash re-paint, I myself am not sad about this figure being locked behind a sub service, I can be fine without it, but I see a ton of people being upset this isn't a mainline release.

would I have bought it if it was a regular release, yes, but also I;ll likely forget this figure ever came out in a month or so.

For people saying you have to pay 100 for this figure, thay not what this is for. This is an incentive to buy the subscription. Not the figure or anything that comes with it. It for the subscription to read the comics on Marvel unlimited. That is what your paying for.

1) Some peopl3 collect figures but aren't comic readers, so this is a $100 figire for them. 2) Marvel Comics have been utter trash the last eight years and their app makes actually reading back issues way too difficult and you don't get to keep what you've read so this is still basically a $100 figure with a bad rental service.

There is a variant of the suit (which looks brown in some panels) and it doesn't have the buttons, so I guess what they're offering isn't totally off the beam. But paying $100.00?? Baffling.

Repaint is a word that gets misused a lot for figures, but in this case and in the case of any of these Marvel Unlimited exclusives it's accurate. I did MU for a few years even before these exclusives and it's just not worth the pop. Reading comics online is just a bigger pain than it seems it should be. I collect what I collect and if I can't have it in hand to keep it's really not worth it to me.

Like others already said, I like the figure and would have certainly bought it as a standard release - but not paying $100 for it. I did that in the past for the comic Rescue and Terror, Inc (repainted Deadpool) figures and don't plan on doing that ever again. This service just isn't worth it. If it would have current run comics on there, it might be - but it's always a few months behind at least as I remember. I also hate reading comics on my computer or phone.

Yeah, it's a shame you have to buy the subscription to get him. I also would probably have picked him up retail just to complete the New Warriors team... which hopefully means we will be seeing Namorita next year.
