Moon Knight To Be The Next Marvel Select Figure Released

Moon Knight To Be The Next Marvel Select Figure Released

Jay Cochran - December 15, 2005

Diamond Select is excited to announce the next Marvel Select action figure will be none other than the Fist of Khonshu - Moon Knight! Based on the artwork of New Avengers’ David Finch, the Moon Knight figure will have multiple points of articulation and be in-scale with past Marvel Select figures. In keeping with past releases, the Marvel Select Moon Knight figure will include a deluxe base featuring a full-size statue of Khonshu – the statue that gave Moon Knight his powers!

Marc Spector was imbued with the moon’s mystic powers by the Egyptian spirit, Khonshu. Having left his mercenary past behind, he began to use his wealth and newfound powers to battle criminals and terrorists as Moon Knight. His super-hero lifestyle proved too much at times, leading the costumed warrior into periods of inactivity – however the Spirit of Khonshu proves too difficult to ignore and Moon Knight returns to his calling as the Fist of Khonshu. Also look for a new Moon Knight mini-series by Charlie Huston next year entitled Moon Knight: The Bottom.

This Marvel Select figure announcement comes on the heels of the most recent announcement of Spider-Woman. The next Marvel Select figure shipping is Days of Future Past Wolverine, which will be out this winter followed by the Watcher.
