You are probably going to be seeing headlines from certain sites claiming that a
Walgreens exclusive
6" Marvel Legends Super-Skrull figure has been confirmed thanks to this screenshot making the rounds from a Walgreens computer showing the figure listed.
While at this time we can't confirm or deny if such a figure is actually coming, here are a couple things to keep in mind.
First a store computer listing should not be considered a confirmation of anything. Mainly because sometimes these listings can change. It wouldn't be the first time something was listed in a store computer that never actually materialized.
Second, while this screenshot making the rounds on the net is fairly new, the actual listing is not. The Super-Skrull figure has actually been listed in the Walgreens computers for sometime now. That being said, while Hasbro officially announced
two new upcoming Walgreens exclusive figures last week during Comic-Con with the
Medusa and
Reed Richards figures, Super-Skull was not mentioned at all. So if a Super-Skrull figure is in fact being planned, it's probably at least a year away since the Medusa and Richards figures are the next two being released.
Finally if a Super-Skrull figures was being planned by Hasbro, I would like to think it would end up being some kind of Build-A-Figure, not a regular released figure. Not only is Super-Skrull a pretty big dude, but I would think if Hasbro were to do him right he would have multiple arms and legs to mimic his powers. That being said Hasbro did confirm at Comic-Con that a Thing figure who is another big dude would be released at some point, so who knows? Maybe Thing and Super-Skrull will be the 2019 Walgreens exclusives?!?
Like I said before, at this time we can't confirm or deny that a Skrull figure is coming, but at the same time I wouldn't by any means consider this screenshot alone a confirmation that such a figure is coming.
