36" Classic Deadpool Figure From NECA

36" Classic Deadpool Figure From NECA

Jay Cochran - October 19, 2018
Possibly the most skilled mercenary in the world... and definitely the most annoying. The joke-cracking, reference-making, fourth-wall-breaking, taco-eating funnyman of the cold-blooded killer set, Deadpool has long skirted the line between hero and villain, between maniac and genius, between ugly and smelly!

This highly detailed figure stands an incredible 36 inches tall and has over 30 points of articulation.

Deadpool's joints have been reinforced and ratchet into place. Accessories include his katana, sai and knife, all with working sheaths, and interchangeable hands. You can pre-order this figure now at BigBadToyStore.com.

this is Insane! haha I think the only characters I would make this much room for would be apocalypse or hulk, mostly cause they are supposed to be supersized characters.

I think a figure in this scale only works for Deadpool, because I see it as a big joke. The absurd size is a joke (I thought the 1:4 scale one was already big) as well as the price tag.

Was the regular sized one that popular enough to make a giant one?

But yet the pre-order is somehow sold out. How? This figure just doesn't look right.

Who would ever buy this? Its the size of a LARGE child. The price was pretty much assumed but youd have to be the most diehard-est of diehard fans of deadpool to blow a wad on this. It is impressive in how large of a figure it is with that kind of articulation but who has room for that?

The Mad Bubbler - 2018-10-20 @ 2:36 pm

That head sculpt is awful, and the proportions of the body are just weird. Even if they're going for a more stylized look, Deadpool isn't supposed to be a pinhead. I will say, the body shows a great amount of detail in the sculpt, and the paint job is excellent, but it's just an overall ugly figure.

Uhhhh yeah this is absurd. Ive loved deadpool since the early 90s so its not because I dont like Deadpool but that face is ridiculous, that scale is ridiculous, and that price is ridiculous even if it is fair. Lol. I just cant imagine wanting to own this.

Well, the pre order at BBTS is already sold out, so you're right!

I don't get how is this sold out? The figure is really not that great, the head looks so weird.

Also, what do you do with a figure this big? I understand if we get Galactus or Sentinel like some of you said, but Deadpool? and for $699.99? No way.

NECA make some original Pacific Rim figures in this scale!!!
