Third Marvel Legends Maximum Figure Confirmed For 2025 - What Will It Be?!?

April 19, 2025
Hasbro's Dan Yun has confirmed that we will be seeing a third Marvel Legends Maximum figure released this year.

The first two figures in this Maximum sub-line that have been solicited include Spider-Man and more recently The Incredible Hulk. These figures are available at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

So now you might be asking what is the next figure to get the Maximum treatment? While not yet confirmed by Hasbro, as we first reported back in February, I believe it will be a new Maximum Deadpool figure. I don't have any details at this time on what exactly will make it Maximum worthy and of course until Hasbro confirms it we will treat this as a RUMOR.

When more details do become available we will be sure to update you here on MarvelousNews.

Deadpool already had the Maximum treatment without being a Maximum figure. Just re-release the SDCC multi-pack version as a single release.

Personally, I got my Maximum Spidey and haven't taken him out. The more I look at him, the more annoyed I am at myself for getting him. I'm heavily debating canceling my Hulk too. If they'd chill on the outright price gouging and actually live up to their promise of definitive, ultra articulated figures, I'd still really like a Thor, Silver Surfer and Dr Strange. But if they are a bunch of reused parts and high prices, just stop alteady.

My exact sentiments. I could not even bring myself to preorder that Hulk due to the blatant reuse, and this was something I was clamoring for and even expecting Hasbro to deliver. And the primary reason for my confidence in the line and the Hulk was the maximum Spidey and that gameverse venom. We have the all-new sculpt with top of Hasbro articulation and a sculpt that not only is new but also looks better than anything they've ever done for the character. Then they show a 10+ inch venom with all the new everything that would be expected in the maximum line for the maximum price. And here we have Hulk, that is just a new diaphragm with new hands and feet. Like this can't be a justified decision making when they just put so much into regular deluxe releases, and especially for a subline that's their version of the ultimate figure of that character. And as u said, it would be phenomenal if we can get Silver Surfer, Thor etc, but if they are just going to reuse old parts, some old outdated parts they can drop this line today.

Having DD in the second Secret Wars set definitely lessens the chances of a Maximum DD. It doesn't rule them out, cause they do annoying things like that all the time, but I think the chances went down.

Oh yes, yes we are. If they go the "maximum" Hulk route with 75% reuse with idk the Vulcan or Ryv Spidey mold, this release will be quite upsetting. Because IMO, then it was 2 wasted opportunities for a unique sculpt that the Spidey got us hyped for. I hope it's a new sculpt, something akin to the Punisher mold with different calves (w/toes joints) and neck articulation, and one kinda stylized to Liefield's Deadpool, that is my dream Deadpool. IF they get this right, they will renew my hope for this line, and maybe a chance at unique bucks for bigger characters or just more characters in general, ie The Thing (that isn't built like a square like all legends things), and Silver Surfer.

I'm intrigued by the Incredible Hulk wave, interested to see what we might get. Also looking forward to a new Absorbing Man. I love my BAF Absorbing Man, but I'll never turn down a worthy upgrade.

I still wouldn't put it past them. Animated Hobgoblin shouldn't have gotten that cape, but they gave it to him anyway.

To be fair, that was Macendale. And that Animated Hobgoblin sucked

Not sure why they keep putting Daredevil on such small bucks. I would love to see them use the recent Punisher two pack buck for Daredevil... or even the Vulcan buck, but not a Spider-man buck...he should be bigger than that. And give him proper paint apps and multiple heads. This could have been a great one for the Maximum line.

My first thought was Max Spidey buck only because Hasbro used the RYV previously. Vulcan being a good size but lacks in the articulation. The new Punisher body is probably the best existing buck to use for Daredevil. Best blend of size and articulation.
