Rumor Report - Complete Lineup For Marvel Legends X-Force And Vintage X-Men Waves

Some new retail computer listings have come to light first reported I believe by rektangular giving us a hint at the final figures for Hasbro's new X-Force and Vintage X-Men Marvel Legends waves.

The figures for these waves Hasbro confirmed at Toy Fair back in February include

Confirmed For X-Force Wave
- Boom Boom
- Cannonball (which does not appear will include alternate regular legs)
- Mr. Sinister
- Guardian
- Nightcrawler (No bendy wire in the tail)
- Wendigo Build-A-Figure

The remaining figure rumored for this wave is X-Force Wolverine which will likely use the more modern Wolverine mold with X-Force colors.

Confirmed For Vintage X-Men Wave
- X-Factor Cyclops (Blue and white outfit)
- 90's Dazzler
- Silver Samurai
- Patch (Wolverine)

The vintage figures which are packaged on cardbacks made to look like the old 5" Toy Biz figures do not include Build-A-Figure pieces. The two remaining figures for this wave are rumored to be Storm and Iceman. Both likely to be based on Jim Lee art styles for the characters to round out the remaining X-Men figures in that style. We know Hasbro is releasing a Jim Lee style Colossus in their Marvel 80th Anniversary line. For Storm, our guess is she will have the more silver looking costume as opposed to black. Iceman will likely be a reuse of the Iceman they recently released with a new non-ice jagged headsculpt and an 'X' featured on his belt.

We want to stress that NONE of these RUMORED figures are actually confirmed by Hasbro despite how some might report it. Things like retail listings can and do sometimes change and as for the outfits the figures will be wearing, that is more our speculation than anything, so keep that in mind.

People may not like Punk Storm but for the character it was such a big part of her history and character development that it would be a crime not to make her.

Plus having it kick Cyclop's butt when she had no powers was awesome but I really wished they gave us a blue eyed version as well.

Punk Storm is the best Storm. I was ecstatic they went with that look, and any other Storms we get are just gravy for me.

Can't wait for the pics for this Storm and Iceman.

I agree..I know it was a plot point at the time but I hated the "Punk" look. It lasted far too long and I'm hard pressed to figure out why it was made before TAS look and first appearance.

I personally think that's the best figure from that X-men wave.

Likely because it was a version that had never been made before.

I'd be happy with either Giant Sized X-men Storm costume or TAS/Jim Lee Storm. Though I don't think I can stomach fans badmouthing the GS X-men costume if Hasbro went with that first. "Fans" seem to have already trashed her "Punk" costume. Theyseemto be salivating at the thought of a TAS Storm.

The GS X-men Storm is my personal preference, I'd love Feige and the MCU to make a version of that (maybe with leggings instead of bare thighs/bikini) for her movie debut.

I've said it before but I'm so ready for Hasbro to transition to a one-Storm-per-wave, instead of Wolverine. She's got so many cool looks still left to be done.

I'd prefer the new Storm be the Jim Lee version. They'll eventually get around to the ANAD team, maybe they can put them in a Giant-Size #1 box set. They've already got Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Sunfire and that two-pack 70s Cyclops that could be recycled alongside new Storm, Banshee and Thunderbird.

I would be delighted. I have been wanting a new FA storm since the TB days. with all the figure that have been released we only need this, Thunderbird and a New Banshee to go with Colossus, Cyclops (from the 2-pack), Nightcrawler and TS Wolverine.

I mean if there any team beside the original that changed the way the X-men were it's the Giant-Size X-men.

But I understand that some would be pissed off is they didn't do the Jim lee first.

I would also be happy with this version!! Thunderbird and Banshee would be all we lacked!

I don't have anything to add to this. I just wanted to quote you out of context.

I'd be equally thrilled with either version of Storm or Iceman! My money's on the "Jim Lee" versions, though. And Tarot, in seriousness, I do agree with your sentiment. I'd love to see some nice versions of the original team! That box set from a few years ago did nothing for me.

And for Iceman, what if they did this version?

cool version but unless they re-do the rest of the team on the teen bodies (god that male teen body is so under used), it wouldn't worth it.
