This is a rumor that has actually been floating around on the net for a while now, so I don't really consider this major breaking news. However I can tell you that I now have been able to confirm this is happening by multiple sources. Of course until Hasbro officially confirms it, which will likely happen this weekend at Toy Fair, we will still consider it a rumor.
So the wave is labeled as a 6" Spider-Man Retro wave. I assume this means the figures will come on cardbacks that pay tribute to the original Toy Biz 5" Spider-Man line which was released during the time of the 90's Spider-Man animated series on Fox. The type of cardback is purely just an assumption on my part. The wave will feature figures of Daredevil, Electro, Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, and of course Spider-Man.

Except for all the new tooling required. So far the vintage waves have kept the new tooling to an absolute minimum, and we're already getting Gwen Stacy.

It probably makes more since though simply because the armored DD would require a totally new figure. Maybe it will be DD with an unmasked head?
wouldn't really need a new sculpt as they could just use the moon knight build for it.

If Daredevil IS in the wave, just give me a classic version with a tweaked deco and maybe some new accessories.
Well there's no reason why they can't do armoured for the vintage line. So far the vintage wave is looking like a regular Spidey wave just without the BAF

Armoured DD, Green Goblin with both Norman and Harry heads. Electro to have interchangeable hands

Never been interested in Battle Damaged figures, but it wouldn't be the worst figure

Lol, I've never seen that one before. I can't help inferring that he ripped off one of Doc Ock's arms and beat him senseless with it!
Hoping that this figure gets recreated, I would love to display a modern battle ravaged Spider-Man fighting off green goblin on my shelf.
