Looks good and surprised to see him! Gladly fill out any teams I can. The best part is that vest has got to be used for Thunderstrike in the hopefully near future!
So going by the pictures above...did Hercules put the smack down on Rage?
In hand this is a great figure,if a little cartoony. Didnt realize he was on that terrible Hyperion mold. Guess a easy fix like a vest canmake a bad mold better.

How dare you! Fans of safe space & Snowflake are gonna be miffed at you for saying that.

I guessthe brown paint over the yellow plastic is why the nose is that way. I agree with you 100% that the vest covers the Hyperion flaws

Not a massive fan of Rage, so I'll probably skip him.

They didnt exactly kick him out. He was placed in an Avengers in training program of sorts. He was still technically an Avenger in Training when he joined the New Warriors.
For some reason it became a New Warriors plan to steal a Quinjet for a mission and Rage used his Avengers clearance to gain entry to Avengers HQ. This is the reason they kicked him out of the training program. From what Ive seen, he has never gone back.
For me, I never had a great attachment to his character. He was used as a plot device (angry black character with a chip on his shoulder that is hard to get along with. See early Falcon, Triathlon). His time was short and the stories that focused on him were very un-Avenger like. I think there was one particular story where some other worldly demons kidnapped his Grandmother and she actually slaps one of them with a rolling pin. Just weird, more street level (ala Spidey, DD) adventures that didnt quite fit Earths Mightiest Heroes.
However, he has a great, unique design (sorry New Warriors fans, that red helmet look is piss) and he has grown onme. I was glad to get him in the 3 3/4 scale and Ill be glad to grab this one. More obscure Avengers please Hasbro
