Well this story about the next wave of
Spider-Man themed Marvel Legends figures which will be officially revealed by the end of this month keeps evolving.
We originally reported that the wave would contain
No Way Home movie figures of
Integrated Suit Spider-Man, J. Jonah Jameson, Doctor Strange and
Black & Gold Suit Spider-Man as well as a
Gamerverse PS5 Miles Morales and
comic book based Morlun.
Then yesterday we updated you to the news that the folks at
Fwoosh chimed in stating the 7th regular release figure in the wave would be a comic book based
Shriek.
That still left the unknown
Build-A-Figure for the wave. Well now the folks at
Marvel Legends México Oficial chimed in with word that the
Build-A-Figure for this wave will be some type of
Spider-Slayer figure. There have been many different Spider-Slayers portrayed over the years, so its unclear which version this would be. It might even be the
Alistair Smythe version that first appeared in the Fox Spider-Man Animated Series.
Marvel Legends México Oficial actually first reported this back in March, and while we have no way of confirming whether their info is true at this time,
they were the first to report on the
Fantastic Four Retro cardback wave containing the
High Evolutionary and
Psycho Man figures.
Again all should be fully revealed by the last week of August, but for now we'd love to hear your thoughts, is this a wave you would want to add to your collection?

Well I've been going on and on about a Marvel Monsters box set for Halloween for well over a year now...was hoping this month we'd get some good news.....
The Morlun figure arrived the other day and its great. As I said before I think he'd be a great base for the Tomb of Dracula figure. However now, I realize he's on the small side. Put him up against almost any other Legend and its glaringly clear. Still....they could go ahead and re-tool him for Dracula. Maybe modify the Happy Hogan for Frankenstein monster....
Just in case there was still a question, no the movie will not be released without a trailer.

Bah! We need to see Man-Wolf, Tarantula, classic Rhino, and above all, red-and-gold Iron Spider before these others.
I hope we get the Ringer in a future Spider-Man wave.

I'm going to say my preferred look is his look from superior spider-man. Which looks like an updated versions of the nineties version

Definitely my preferred look. We need a classic look and Alastair also at some point.

I mean, if you're going by the comic books, the multiverse stories have existedfor decades. Since long before any MCU or X-Men movies were released, long before any of the Spider-Man movies and so on. It's a predominant storyline that allowed them to create amazing booksthey wouldn't have been able to otherwise. It proceeded the 80's, though I can't really think of many movies that featured the time travelelement then other than the Back to the Future series. It's recent decades that have over-used time travel as a plot devicenot the 80's.
But I digress. Just because this 50 your old enormous over-arcing plot has finally made it to a couple of movies, doesn't make it a fad. It's a thousand books in the making with some awesome stories that we finally get to see on the big screen and will probably be a predominant fixture in the MCU forever. Bring on Kang and the next 10 years of awesomeness!
Let's get some more Maxium Carnage characters and a redo or doppelganger
