This is by far my worst fave look for DD this generic looking ninja design is some how more boring than his standard Spandex and boots look. He just looks so unimposing and sad. Bring on the new DD on the Vulcan body. And hurry up about it.

I doubt they know that Blade originally was British, born in Soho, London. When he first appeared in the 70s of course he had a cool afro, and wore a green (later brown) overcoat and green pants, with black (or brown) knee high boots. Not to mention the tinted glasses that looked like safety goggles, as if he was going to wood shop class. With his over the shoulder bandolier of teak wood stakes, he waged war on vampires. That would be an interesting figure to see them do.
Blade, though not specifically stated, gives strong Snipes vibes. The last one did too but I can't unsee Wesley in most of these pics.
I was aware of Blade before the films so I'm not sure what I'm thinking is the definitive comic version though I know it's not the technicolor 70s version.
I've been using the last one as both comic and film versions. Looks like I'll be doing the same with this one
Some comparison pics to the last version of Blade would have been cool but this one does look better than the previous. Though that one pic where he's kneeling gives him a macaroni looking leg bend. I'm sure it's probably fine though.

If you want a fun easy intro to Lady Bullseye, watch the Hit-Monkey animated series on Hulu - it's great! (at least as far as animated series go)

Eh, to each their own. I can't hate on anyone for liking a figure. Unless you like that freaking Firelord figure. JK. I'm sure theres quite a few figures i like that a lot of people think are stinkers. But Seriously I think DD has always been shown to be around that 6 foot 200 pound tier with Moon Knight and Black Panther. Smaller than Captain America but bigger than Spidey. Of course now Marvel is going back and retconing all the characters official stats. I know for a fact that DD was once listed as 6 foot 2 and 215 pounds but now he's been downsized to 5 foot eleven and 185. Similarly Cap A has been downsized and even Hulk lost about a foot or more. It's almost like they're downsizing them to match their movie and TV counterparts. Or the toys. Lol. So this might be more accurate than I think. But like I've said in other posts. I prefer to remember my heroes how they were in the good old days. Larger than life. Doing real hero stuff and having short concise stories to move on to a new story in the next issue. You didn't have to read 27 issues back to figure out what was going on in the one you picked up.

I think the official answer to that question is....YES! HaHa!
