Does this have drop down hips? I know it's based off the RYV Spiderman, just wondering if something is up with the hips to explain that awful thigh gap. Is the drop down not being utilized correctly in those images? Or did Hasbro do something dumb such as use the regular Sunfire hips instead of the RYV Spidey hips and they don't sit right on those pegs?
I want to not like this, but I always liked this look, sure it's pretty basic, but something about it does it for me, I thought I'd pass on this figure, but it turns out I'm not going to, it's just a darn cool looking Spidey, I do agree with everyone that the Thigh Gap thing is a bit jarring, I might be able to look past it though, I will wait till I get this figure in hand for the final verdict. something about this figure just says What If Spidey was Snake Eyes homie and joined the Joes?, I like that.

I want to say this thing looks cool. And it kind of does. But that weird thigh gap thing is just terrible. And I really don't see what the necessity of it is. Between that and the obscurity of the look it was an easy pass. I suspect it will go on clearance so I might pick it up then. If not then nothing lost.
What does the Spiderman vs. Wolverine thing in the headline have to do with this? is this suit from a comic where they faced off (and then ultimately teamed up)?
