Hasbro's
Dan Yun has given us some clues for what we can expect to see during
Hasbro's Marvel Legends Fanstream which kicks off tomorrow (1/17) at 11am ET.
Setting of expectations: yo tomorrow we’ll have one movie item & the rest are comic based. We’ll be revealing some new initiatives. Hoping we fill some slots that fans have been waiting for. I’m sure not everything will be for everyone. But thank you always for your collecting. See you tomorrow✌️

So lets try and narrow it down just a little bit more on what to expect. First the MCU figure he mentions will likely be the
Spider-Man: No Way Home Electro figure. As we
reported earlier this month, Electro looks like will be going up for pre-order on January 30th at places like our sponsors
Entertainment Earth and
BigBadToyStore.com. The new Electro looks like will include at the very least alternate hands and large lightning effects similar to those included with the new Electro (Francine Frye) figure.
Next Dan talks about everything else being comic based and goes on to say they will be revealing new initiatives and hoping to fill some slots fans have been waiting for. I can only guess on this but by best guess is that Hasbro will be revealing their new Marvel Legends Mini-Comic wave of figures. As we reported last
November, this new sub-line or (initiative) will include a mini-comic. The wave is rumored to include the following:
- Rom The Space Knight with ROM Mini-Comic #1
- Banshee (Green and Yellow Classic Costume) with Giant Sized X-Men #1 Mini-Comic
- Adam Warlock with Infinity Gauntlet #1 Mini-Comic
- Miles Morales Spider-Man with Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man #1 Mini-Comic
- Dark Avengers Wolverine with Dark Avengers #1 Mini-Comic
- Ultimate Iron Man with unkown Ultimate Iron Man Mini-Comic
I feel like at least Rom and an updated Banshee in his classic costum will be some slots many fans have been wanting to fill.
Now Dan does use the word initiative(s) as in more than one. So its also possible they could officially announce their rumored
Ultimate Fan Channel Exclusive line. Again as we reported back in November, these would be figures with lots of accessories. The first two figures slated for this line looks to be new Spider-Man (Red And Blue Classic Outfit) and Hulk (Green) figures. Spider-Man will have an unmasked, regular masked head and spider-sense masked tingling head. he also comes with multiple hands, webbing effects, backpack, a set of lower arm/hands that have no costume but have webblasters on the hands, and some kind of stand. Hulk will have three heads, multiple hands, some kind of firing missile, wind clapping effect and punch effect. Hulk will stand 8.5" tall.
Hasbro in their last live-stream as we
reported before seemingly teased accessories for the
Mini-Comic wave Adam Warlock with his staff and the
Ultimate Wave Spider-Man with the webbing effect.
So there you go, No Way Home Electro I would say I am 99.9% sure we will see revealed. The Mini-Comic and Ultimate stuff are more guesses on my part, but based on what we have seen and are hearing for tomorrow, they make the most sense to me. No matter what is revealed, we of course will have full coverage of it here for you all as it happens.

Im just now seeing your reply! Thanks very much, I massively appreciate it!

Yea a Target exclusive villain that no one can get! Don't wish that on us. Target is now the king of letdowns I'm so tired of trying to get there figures. My way was to get on at midnight and order on the release date but that did not work this time, alas. I live in Arkansas we only have two Targets and the closest one is over an hour away...feel my pain.
Hoping it will be a villain. I love the Retro Card villain colours

However, Target seems to be getting pretty bad about having their exclusives sell out online quick and never getting stocked in physical stores (at least in my area).
I'm getting really tired of Target. Agree 100% with you for online. In-store, the waves appear 1 to 3 times each, and then they vanish. The only way I can keep up is swing by the store a block from work. If the pegwarmers are up, I know I just missed it and I've 1 or 2 more chances.

There's a LOT of placeholders in their lines and a lot of "Malibu Stacy's with Hats" too.I bought the ToyBiz stuff from the start, and I still have a bunch in my collection. So figures therein have, imo, never been surpassed, or have been upgraded only so marginally as to be not worth the effort to get.Lockjaw is an interesting case: I thought the Mezco: ONE-12 Blackbolt set had ( initially) a leagues better Lockjaw. Uh-uh.The Hasbro Lockjaw is more articulated, by a bit---it just lacks the light-up feature.
Haha, the Hasbro Lockjaw proves my asymptote theory. To get close to an end-all Lockjaw by Hasbro, it would need that light-up feature! (And maybe better articulation. We can dream LoL)
I do have a handful, and I mean literally 5 or less, of the old Toybiz Legends: Ultimate Iron Man---I thought this was really great at the time, until I checked under the lid and found Tony's ridiculous looking tiny head! I leave it on him---Beast w/articulated jaw, Professor X, the other 2 I can't recall.

Are tons of people cancelling?

More than likely a limited amount available for preorder when it first went up to create FOMO.

I mean, can you imagine years earlier, buying the farm, only to have lived through the TOY BIZ era as the highlight of one's collecting experience? We're in a golden age of sorts. I got Crystal/Lockjaw recently. Sure wish Lockjaw's legs were a little more articulated. But in this case, who knows when Hasbro will get around to rereleasing a retooled "super-posable) Lockjaw, so I'm grateful.
