It would isolate alot of people that don't have any interest in that series or modern comics leading to low sales. That is why mixed waves, waves that have modern and classic figure sell better.
I was just thinking what would be better than the mini comics but something that was still similar in concept. I am really not a fan of the whole concept to begin with. Personally I would rather just have the BAF pieces. If not that I would want the money spent on more accessories/paint apps.
Going by the size of the weights, F4 She Hulk seems to be more likely

I'd love if this rumored Strong Guy release was the later XFactor look. Kinda funny that we have that whole Investigations team, but couldn't really set it up since the outfits are so different.
The guess of the weights coming with an FF Shulkie feels right to me. It would be a way of making what is just a simple repaint a little different.
And btw, the more I see this Electro, the more "Hell No!" I am. There is no excuse for him to be 35 bucks.

I would rather have been offered a mini build-a-figure instead.

even the AOA waves and HOX waves may seem like they sold well but that was because, well, their x-men only second to Spider-man, in terms of toy sales.

I'm not fan of the whole thing to begin with but I feel they should have done maybe a whole wave from the same comic. For example they could have done 6 figures from Dark Avengers and each would have a piece of the Dark Avengers comic. Collecting the whole wave you can then put all the pieces together and can have a full comic size replica of the comic cover art.

Finally we're getting Adam Warlock. This figure has been on my wish list for the longest. I'm super stoked to be getting him and the animated Chameleon in the same year! Now all that's left from my original wish list is a classic Beta Rey Bill.
