February 20, 2025
Hasbro today is holding another one of their Marvel Legends Fan-Streams with Dwight Stall and Ryan TIng. See full coverage of everything revealed below.

The panel has started.

New Spider-Man Gamerverse figures - Spirit Spider (Walmart Exclusive March Pre-Order, likely during the next Collector Con), Deluxe Kingpin in black suit using Mr. Fixit body parts and has ruby gem cane, alternate hands and head (Amazon Exclusive with March Pre-Order).

Six figure Gamerverse Spider-Man wave will be available as general releases. Miles Morales Upgraded Suit (Red White And Blue) with alternate shocking hands and two other pairs of hands. Black Suit Peter Parker Spider-Man (All new-sculpt with Symbiote tentacle accessories and 3 pairs of hands. Miles Morales Boricua Suit Spider-Man with 3 pairs of hands and web accessory. Peter Parker Anti-Venom Blue and silver Spider-Man figure with extra head and 3 pairs of hands and web accessory. Miles Morales Brooklyn Visions Academy Suit Spider-Man with webbing effects and 3 pairs of hands. Black Cat with 2 pairs of hands and wand of Wand of Watoomb.

Pre-Orders for the Spider-Man wave opens next Tuesday (2/25) at 1pm ET as a multiple channel release which includes our sponsors Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore.com.

Gamerverse Big Boss Battle Venom which stand 10 1/2" tall will be released as it's own figure. The slime and drool can be removed from his mouth and tongue. It has two headsculpts (Open and close mouthed). It also has 2 pairs of hands and a symbiote garbing tentacle piece. This is being called a super deluxe figure but no price given. This goes up for pre-order on Thursday February 27th at 1pm ET. Again as a muli-channel release.

They revealed an Uncanny X-Force black and grey Warpath figure which uses the new Omega Red scale body. The figure has two knives and an extra pair of hands. This will be in a 2-pack with X-23 in black and grey which does use some new parts. This is using the smaller scale super articulated body. Has two headsculpts, one with mask and one without. The figure also has 3 pairs of hands. They hinted more from this team might be coming, probably the rumored Archangel.

This 2-pack will have a March pre-order but no specific date given.

They will have a small showing at Toy Fair next Saturday (3/1).

Final teaser is a missile which I can tell you will be for the rumored Maximum Hulk figure.

Panel ends.

I had a comment removed for just saying I wasn't going to be buying the PS5 wave?

While they are cool figures, I just don't DO anything with them. They sit in a bin. Idk, I feel like I "played" with these looks already, I'm good. Thats generally what leads to my disinterest in all video game figures. And I do get a little miffed at all the retooling, especially for ones that don't have any real reuse. They claim it's hard and expensive, but do it for skins and not for Moon Knight or Daredevil? Really?

My exact sentiments. Though I was having a hard time expressing it this puts it so easily. Just what do you do with these guys after you open them? Sure some of them look cool. But then you open them, admire them and then bag them up and move on. They're just these random out of place flash in the pan digital maps. They don't really fit anywhere in any collection. Unless you have a Spider-Man game collection I guess. And if you do how confident are you that here going to keep adding to and supporting it in the future? The saddest thing is they put so much work into these though. Certainly much more than they put into the average comic based figures. And like you said through all this effort and resource they use here we can't even get a proper updated DD or MK on the correct body model.

Makes sense that the battle damaged would be the black suit Toby. Bit of a bummer for me. I was really hoping for a torn mask, beat up classic Spidey.

Rereading that list was.pretty cool! Spot on in fact. Have you heard any flow ups on some of the stuff that is still missing? Strong Guy? X Factor 2 pack? We got the Danvers release but still not WWBN. Those 2 packs of Champion-Magus and Triton-Black Bolt and the Super Skrull deluxe could come around the FF release time. I seem like the only one hoping we get that battle damaged Spidey, hahaha.

As far as the stuff in that Nov story from Displaying Model Behaviour like the Strong Guy, X-Factor 2-Pack and such I have not seen anything myself for those. Doesn't mean they aren't coming, just that I haven't seen anything myself for it at this time. The Battle Damage Spider-Man DMB mentioned back in August might be theSpider-Man 3 Tobey Black Costume Spider-Man figure because I believe that has battle damage on it.

Looking at the stuff DMB told us about in Aug (https://marvelousnews.com/252-35710) I have more recently seen some updates on the Marvel Vs Capcom stuff which from what I have seen technically won't be under a Marvel vs Capcom banner but the Gamerverse banner. But from what I have seen the figures he listed do seem legit though maybe Shuma-Gorath won't be named Shuma-Gorath.

I'm still hoping you're right about the X-Men '97 wave upcoming. I think you're the only one that had a White Queen as part of the wave.

As far as I know. I will say originally that X-Men wave was supposed to be released in the first half of 2025 and more recently I have seen some indications it might have been pushed to the second half of 2025 and with all these things its always possible changes can happen which is why we do stress the treating these as rumor until officially confirmed by Hasbro.

Finally for Hasbro's Gamerverse Spider-Man 2 Wave I have seen listings for Black Cat and 5 variant Spider-Man costume figures. One is a black suit Peter, one I think is the Brooklyn 2099 Suit (Miles) and another is Boricua Suit (Miles). Sorry I couldn't identify the other two suits from the game. Also for the Gamerverse line I saw a listing for a 10.5" tall Venom Mega Deluxe figure.

Forgot to mention in my last post, but I think this Kingpin might be the highlight of the wave. Even as someone who doesn't collect gamerverse or MCU figures, I'm considering grabbing this one. For some reason, I think he'd like great on the shelf alongside Spidey's other villains.

I'm not going to say I'm shocked reading these comments as I feel we are more so the "older crowd" (pure speculation off of general comment reading, well, and it's a "news forum"), but I gotta say I like these reveals. I think the "super deluxe" venom they're trying to push looks great with a better articulation scheme than all the other figures in the wave ironic. Regardless I think it looks great, legs are long but the game design was kinda wonky with proportions so I can let it slide. And I am satisfied w/ how the symbiote spidey looks and the Puerto Rico variant miles, and ik this for sure is not everyone's cup of tea but Im digging it and I am surprised by all the new molds from Hasbro today, could never find a comic wave with this much new sculpt (well, the last one kinda did haha). And the warpath looks fine to me, I am here for that any day any week, GIMME.

While I am old, I did play these games, and play video games pretty often. I got a few of the gamerverse Spideys for their baf parts. Really? They do really look cool, and if I was Puerto Rican nothing could keep me from that Miles with the flag. Happy for anyone that is excited for these, although I do think KP should have been the baf. Probably has to do with all the retooling.

And yes, I like that new Warpath too. Actually looking forward to that 2 pack, and happy it's 50 bucks. Dwight scared me with all that "higher pricepoint" talk, hahaha.
