Hasbro's
Dan Yun has made his usual setting expectations post on social media for what we might see next Tuesday (April 1) during the
Hasbro Marvel Legends Fanstream that airs at 11am ET on the Pulse Youtube channel.
Setting of expectations: not an April fools prank. Won’t have chairs ☹️. a little MCU🤞some comic/classic 💪. We’ll have another before SDCC so hakuna matata if you don’t see something you wanted. Hope you guys will enjoy! Have a great weekend✌️

In his post he suggests we could see a
little MCU. My best guess is we may see at least 1 if not 2 of the remaining rumored
Daredevil: Born Again figures that will be released along with
Daredevil that went up for pre-order earlier this month at places like our sponsors
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth.
One of those figures should be a new
Punisher and the second remains unknown. I however will speculate the third figure will either be of
White Tiger or
The Muse as seen in the series. Originally I was leaning towards the unknown figure being
White Tiger, but now that I have seen the first 6 episodes of the series on Disney+, I am leaning more towards it being based on
The Muse character. I don't know if
Hasbro will reveal the
Punisher figure next week simply because we have not seen Frank decked out in his full Punisher outfit yet in the series, but I don't think I would consider that much of a spoiler. Both
The Muse and
White Tiger have been fully revealed in the series so either of those should be good to go for a reveal.
Another possible rumored movie figure they could reveal next week is the
Spider-Man 3 Tobey Black Costume Spider-Man figure. I don't know if technically we can consider that an MCU reveal but it should be coming soon.
Next Dan suggests we will see some
comic/classic figures revealed. I feel like there is a good chance we will see them reveal the second figure in their
Marvel Legends Maximum line which is rumored to be
The Hulk. The missile accessory they teased in their February Fanstream should be included with that figure so that is 1 reason why I think that reveal is coming soon.
We will probably also get some store exclusive reveals like the next Target X-Men based figure.
Dan says their will be at least one more Fanstream before SDCC in July which I feel is his way of saying don't expect a ton of new reveals next week. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get 2 more Fanstreams after next week and before SDCC.
If there are other reveals coming next week then other possibilities based on rumors include:
A
third wave of X-Men 97 figures. I have seen indications that wave was delayed until the later part of the year and technically those are cartoon based and not comic. Assuming nothing has changed on those, the last I saw the wave should include
Morph, Jubilee, Emma Frost, Cable, Roberto da Costa and
Logan. I actually don't think those will be shown next week but only time will tell.
Another possibility are figures I've seen listed under a subline called
Marvel Legends Anniversary sets. These will be a mix of single Deluxe type figures and 2-packs. These should include things like
Wolverine/Silver Samurai, Thanos/Psylocke, Juggernaut and
Gargantos (Most likely Shuma-Gorath). The thing about these is that I believe these are meant to be based on the
Marvel Vs Capcom games, but I suppose could also be considered comic. From what I can tell they technically don't fall under the "Gamerverse" banner. Again these are items that should be out towards the end of the year so I am not really expecting them to be revealed next week.
There are other rumored figures floating out there from folks like
Displaying Model Behavior which you can refresh your memory on
here and
here. So I suppose any of those I didn't mention in this story could also see revealed next week.
There also should be figures based on the upcoming
Thunderbolts movie which hits theaters in May, but I definitely don't expect those to be revealed next week.
Anyway, whatever is shown next week, we will be sure to share with you right here on MarvelousNews as it happens.
The Yelena figure looks ...how do I say it. Schlumpy (is that a word)....frumpy....but this is what she looks like in the movie. The outfit is drab and almost baggy, but at the same time makes sense for the work she does. The figure here does a great job with her (Florence Pugh's) face, really great. Not my cup of tea, but can't fault the execution here.
Finally jumped on the preorder for the Guardian Yelena set, now waiting for all 4 figures!! They can't get here soon enough!

They've done incredible, outstanding work on their faces- the bodies now need to match. The females need to be in scale with their male counterparts, not look as if they belong to some other companie's line. Case in point: Cap from Secret Wars to Power Princess to Ms Marvel-Warbird (Target). Carol here looks like a kid compared to these two. If we agree that this is more or less a correct rendition of Captain America, then what can we say about them??
Consistent height scaling across figures is not something only Hasbro messes up. Look at McFarlane.
Ms. Marvel and Dark Ms. Marvel are too short compared to some Legends figures (people love huge looking male characters; Cap is out of scale, sorry). But the figures, besides the butterfly shoulders, look excellent. They are my top two Marvel Legends figures of all time. I am skeptical they will ever produce better versions of these characters before the line ends (look how long it took them to do the real Ms. Marvel to begin with).

Yeah I had a huge issue with both the new Warbird/Dark Miss Marvel figures. Face sculpt wise they were amazing even though the Warbird head was a bit on the small size. My main issue here was the size. As many know here I'm a sucker for the technical data. So previous Carol Danvers and Karla Sofen figures were done on the original Moonstone model. The model itself is literally named after one of the characters. At least among the ML community. I think technically they called it the Powerhouse model when it first came out. Whatever the case that model fit the character it portrays. Both women are on the taller side. Coming in around the 6 foot mark and both having powers that would give them the larger more muscular physique. Then they go and update the Moonstone figure on a new retooled, improved articulation, sturdier Moonstone body. I was thinking great. In the midst of all the rumors of an updated Warbird figure and the much anticipated Dark Miss Marvel figure I was thinking they were going to make good use of this newer model. Then they go and do this thing with the new ultra articulated female model. Now I'm not opposed to progress. Actually I'm very happy they made this model. I just have a problem with when and how they chose to use it. First off of the two new Ultra articulated female models they created they chose to use the smaller of the two on both characters who are both larger women. And then honestly there really was no need for this particular body model for this character. They both fly, punch things and shoot energy beams from their hands. They don't need as much articulation as say a Spider-Woman or Black Widow or Black Cat. If anything all they really needed was some clearance on the head sculpt so they could look straight forward in flying poses. Which they've shown they are very capable of. So stacking them up against previous figures of themselves and then even other female characters they literally look like teenagers. And to add an extra little twist there is actually a taller, thicker version of the ultra articulated female model but they go and use it for the Phoenix figure who is statistically supposed to be much shorter and smaller than either of those two. It's almost like someone from the "D" side of the R&D department made a conscious specific effort to do a smaller and larger version of the body to be used to differentiate between smaller and larger female characters but someone in the "R" department dropped the ball and mixed the two models up and used them for the wrong characters. Seriously Hasbro needs some real help in the research department. Preferable someone that knows how to use a few more resources than Google Images for their research.
I'm still a bit on the fence here with this Mystique. I've always been pretty satisfied with my Walgreens exclusive Mystique, but knowing myself, I'll probably end up trying to sell that one and pick this one up. I guess it's the compulsive collector in me.

And high five to anyo e who can make a figure stand for a decent period of time without falling down a dominoing half your display. I have yet to do so. At least not without a stand. Honestly I would re-buy every older female figure made on the Kate body that was remade with the Shreik model. It would be great to get like an alternate head sculpt or maybe even a Skrull sculpt but it really doesn't matter. Hasbro has me over a barrel here.

I think it's fine since it's right at the end of the gloves, I'm not getting it but not because of that joint
