Oh, no, it ABSOLUTELY was, but it could be improved upon - pinless tech, a little taller and wider, better cape (maybe soft goods as well), better head sculpts (more personality, better printing, better helmet...maybe even a Skrull Thor head).

I agree that it's the only way to do the character justice. I'm actually kinda hoping the First Steps Mr Fantastic is a deluxe figure to get a decent representation of his powers. Stretchy fingers like we've got on the last couple of Reeds just doesn't do the trick - we need a figure that matches the old 2005 FF movie and i don't see that happening outside of a deluxe/Maximum offering...

Always appreciate that every collector has their own preferences. SUPREME007 wants a COIPEL Style Thor ... I would love that, but I want a definitive CLASSIC Thor. You want the spiky Iceman...I would love that too, but I want a definitive CLASSIC Iceman (along with the rest of the original X-men gang. This is why it is always great to see pics of various collections - no collection is the same. I've been hoping for a deluxe Iceman on a slide for so long...pretty damn surprised we haven't seen one yet. Also surprised we haven't seen an updated version of the ToysRUs Original X-Men Box Set yet either...that would be my absolute most wanted Legends release.
