Last month we saw the
Hasbro Daredevil: Born Again Marvel Legends Series Daredevil figure go up for pre-order at places like our sponsors
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth.
While
Hasbro has confirmed that we will see at least one more
Marvel Legends figure based on the hit Disney+ series go up for pre-order soon, we don't know exactly when that will be. Based on rumors their actually should be two additional figures that go up for pre-order. One of those figures should be a new
Punisher figure and the third remains unknown. The most logical choices for a third figure would be either
White Tiger, Muse or
Bullseye. A new
Kingpin might be possible as well and even make the most sense being he has such an important role in the series, but I figure if we were getting a new
MCU Kingpin this year it would have gone up for pre-order with
Daredevil. The third figure's identity being kept so tightly under wraps is likely due to a spoiler nature of it and we have known and seen
Fisk since day one of the series.
As for when we might see these go up for pre-order, I honestly don't know. I however can make a compelling case that the pre-orders will launch next week. So first, the final episode of the season will air on Tuesday (4/15). While we have seen Jon Bernthal's Punisher pop up in one episode so far, we haven't seen him decked out in his full Punisher outfit yet. I suspect we will see that in next weeks final episode.
So this is how I could see things play out.
Final episode of the season premiers on Tuesday 4/15. On
Wednesday (4/16) Hasbro officially announces the remaining figure or figures from the season. On
Thursday (4/17) the figures go up for pre-order. Our Sponsor
Entertainment Earth on their Drop Zone page does currently have an unknown
Hasbro pre-order listed for
Thursday (4/17) at 1pm ET.
Another reason why I think next week is when we might see the remaining
Born Again figures go up for pre-order is because its the only week of the month that doesn't have a confirmed Marvel Legends pre-order slated.
For sometime now we have been getting at least 1 Marvel Legends pre-order a week. On
April 3 we had the
Spider-man 3 Symbiote Spider-Man figure go up. This week on
April 10 we had the
Maximum Hulk go up for pre-order. On
April 24 the
Marvel Legends Series Fantastic Four Retro Cardback She-Hulk will go up for pre-order and for the final week of the month on
April 30 the
Marvel Legends Series Amazon Exclusive Crossbones & Madame Masque 2-Pack goes up for pre-order.
Then on
May 1st and
May 8th we have those
Thunderbolts movie 2-packs going up for pre-order. So again this coming week is the only week in the foreseeable future with no confirmed
Marvel Legends pre-orders. Seems like a perfect time to list those remaining
Daredevil: Born Again season 1 figures to me.
If I am right we will likely start getting hints from Hasbro's
Dan Yun very soon, and if we do we will be sure to update you here.
UPDATE: Dan Yun has now confirmed there will be some kind of Marvel Legends pre-order at some point this week.
Wow, I didn't know Sin Eater was in the MCU! Oh wait, that's supposed to be Bullseye?!

I know it's pretty well expected that the Punisher will show up in this wave. If it is a wave. But to this point he's gotten what like 3 minutes of actual screen time after all the hype and hooplah? Maybe he'll show in the final episode but I won't expect it. Here's the issue I have and maybe I'm over thinking it. I'm sure Disney+ has some plan to update his look and if he fails to show up in the last episode in said updated look one could only assume any figure would have to be based more or less on his final look in the Netflix series to avoid any spoilers to his look when he finally does make any substantial appearance on Disney+. TBH I really wouldn't want a figure until we find out exactly what his new look is going to be. Anything before that would be premature IMO and personally I would pass on it just knowing they would almost certainly have to release another one for his solo special presentation. That being said I honestly think the best option for them here is to do a 50/50 set using the 3 characters that make sense which is DD, Bullseye and Muse and possibly Fisk if they're doing a 7 figure wave then going with White Tiger as a comic figure, maybe comic Echo or a Classic Typhoid Mary to fill the female character spot and Maybe Blindspot or Shadowlands DD for the final spot. I'd go with a single card comic DD but it looks like that will be coming in the next Secret Wars wave. Unless they surprise us and go with a modernized version. Whatever Hasbro has been all over the place with their character selections lately. Of course it's always been hit and miss but lately it seems they really lost the pulse of the fans of the line. Or just forgotten where the pulse even was. And if they do a BAF in this wave it would most definitely have to be a comic based character. Another Disney+ Kingpin would not be advised as an incentive to buy the entire wave.
Basically what @tarotsaid. But in my usual long winded format.
Id be happy with either Bullseye or Muse. Both have an awesome interpretation of their comic costumes and Id be happy to add both or either. Punisher could be a great upgrade, but Id prefer if it was someone new

99.9% at least Punisher is coming, and now Dan has confirmed a pre-order is happening this week.
I assume we get a Punisher figure reveal after the finale this week.
I hope the next two figures are Muse and White Tiger. Though I would be okay with one of those and the other figure being the first episode bullseye. And if Punisher is getting his short miniseries, then we can just wait for his figure then, cuz I mean it's been like 8 yrs what's another 1 huh.

I agree. The same with Bullseye. Unless he gets some sort of actual costume, I don't see figures getting made based on how they look in reborn. Muse would certainly be a choice. I still believe if it's a MCU wave, it will be a mixture of characters from recent movies and TV shows
