This is gonna be a head swap purchase. The figure is great & would look good with the zabu/Ka-zar/Xavior(target exclusive) BUT who has room on a shelf for THIS display

She looks hot- would go good with Ka-Zar and Zabu.

There is a chance she will come with an alternate head with red hair. It seems slim but I just hope she isn't packed in with repaints of figures I already have. There are so many savage land figures we need id rather get some new figures with her. We can almost guarantee she is coming in some kind of multi pack which worries me. I don't want to buy another sauron just to get her. Let's not talk that into existence.

Make that alt red hair head with a yelling face. That way I can use it for Siryn and I'll buy it just for that!

I like it. And I agree with others that this isn't one of her best looks. But at this point I'll take anything they can throw at us. What would be great is if they could do one of the few really ingenious things McFarlane uses to do. The little plastic overlay would make sure the figure was presentable on the shelf but whoops if that little dabble of hot glue happened to let loose and that little piece fell off well that looks a little more close to what that character looks like in the comics isn't it? I mean this IS all plastic overlay. Is there perhaps a bikini under there? Of course I wouldn't expect that for a general release but a Pulse or Fan Channel exclusive? Maybe.

Secondly of course this I the precursor to a Savage Land Rouge but I really hope it isn't a straight redeco. The top and loincloth will fly but she does have different boots and gloves. And TBH the iconic version of this Rouge was drawn by Jim Lee. It would be a great time to use of the updated pinless Moonstone/powerhouse model. But seriously these days it is just a straight out toss up on whether Hasbro is going to go that little extra effort to get the details right. Sometimes it just crazy bipolar. AoA Gambit? Sure let's make a lot of positive changes to the Sunfire model to make him taller and add some details to make him perfect. The iconic and popular and well known Silver Surfer. Eh just throw some Silver paint on the same old short bow legged Sunfire body. Yeah the same one we use for skinny shorter guys like Pyro and Speedball. It'll be great. Oh yeah and make sure we go with that design no less than 3 times. We'll change up the paint a little. Make it darker or lighter. Yeah something small like that. And we can call it an improvement. It'll be great.

Now I'm going to need to complete my Zabu that is half finished to justify buying this! Great new fig. Had the old SDCC release but the three updates are far superior.

Got to admit this is an awesome looking figure. Makes me want to pick up the Kazar. Still on the fence, though. The face looks amazing, and I think the two will pair together well.

She is blonde. She has been blonde for decades now. Long before Cho got his hands on her. I

She started out as a redhead during her 70s run. That's how she was during her comic, and for most of the 70s I was distinguishing her from the Cho alt version.

One thing I recall about the series, was the artwork by George Tuska and then Ross Andru. Frankly I didn't care for either of most of their stuff. But here, they both did a really great job, I thought. Their Shanna was tall and athletic, slender, long legged. Now of course it was the 70s so she also looked like a runway model, which really wouldn't work in a jungle setting, but again....the seventies. How she fought crocodiles and wolves and what not without getting marked up, let alone not have her mascara run, we'll just chalk up to Comics Physics.

Yes, there were actually two Shanna (s); the 70s version was the daughter of an Irish diamond miner and she was born in Zaire. She's the one that had the two leopards and partnered with Ka-Zar. She generally (during the 70s run) was barefoot and wore a leopard print outfit, with various styles. The blonde Shanna is the Frank Cho alt universe (I think....I dont know if she was brought over into the Marvel 616 'verse) version. This one is genetically enhanced, and has superhuman strength; she's bigger, bustier, and generally wears the animal skin with boots outfit pictured above. By the way, just so no one misunderstands, I'm not saying they should have done her over this one, I was just commenting on the different versions. I think either are fine. To be honest....I'm just glad they did Zabu!

As far as others in a pack, they hinted at Barbarus. So if it's a multi pack I'd guess at least him as a "lock". Amphibious or Brainchild would be my biggest wants in a three pack. But a five pack, I'd like a Zaladane. I'd be pretty good on Savage Land after the obvious Rogue and ripped suit Mags after that 5 pack. My vote is with others who've expressed not wanting re releases or slight repaints of others.
