Next week is shaping up to be an exciting week for
Marvel Legends collectors. It's already been announced
Hasbro will be hosting a new Fanstream on their Youtube channel on Thursday (5/29) at 11am ET. One of several things they will be showing off will be their new wave of
Fantastic Four: First Step movie figures which should be going up for pre-order the following day on 5/30. These will be available starting at 1pm ET at the usual places like our sponsors
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth. You should also be able to get them at
Amazon and
Nerdzoic.
As far as what figures you can expect to see in the wave, well it looks like it will be a six figure wave. We are pretty sure their will not be a Build-A-Figure in the wave. As we saw in Hasbro's teaser image they released several weeks ago we will see the four members of the team (
Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic),
Sue Storm (Invisible Woman),
Ben Grimm as The Thing and
Johnny Storm in human form). The remaining two figures should be a completely
flamed on Human Torch figure and the
MCU female Silver Surfer. Since I don't think, but again not 100% confirmed this wave will include a Build-A-Figure, maybe
H.E.R.B.I.E. will be included as some sort of pack-in with one of the figures.
We of course will have full coverage of the Fanstream here on MN and bring you more details on these figures and whatever else they show during the stream as that information becomes available.

I would expect there will be at least 2 comic figures in this wave. After the 4 majors and SS there really isn't anyone else. If they do Johnny and Human Torch as 2 different figure I'd expect a bit of an outrage. Though Hasbro being Hasbro I could see them trying to do H.E.R.B.I.E. and Franklin as a two pack.

Would be a lovely thing if we got some FF Comic figures amongst the MCU figures, but I have a strong feeling that the wave will be MCU only, as that's been the case as of lately. But I think we are due for another Comic FF wave, on card or boxed with a BAF, we still need so many villains.
Yes as it seems no Select Annihilus so would be nice to see a BAF wave with a Annihulius, and we really need Mole Man, Wizard for sure.

The FF are one of marvel legends heroes missing the most villains. Wizard, Trapster, Blasstar (needs update), Annihulis (needs update), Mole Man (needs update),Mad Thinker, Diablo, Red Ghost, and Puppet Master are just the ones I can think of. Wizard and Trapster really need to be made so we can have some kind of version of the frightful four.
