I was really focused on Magneto and his force field at the SDCC display. I didn't really pay attention until now of those Nightcrawler "bamf" effects. Have those ever been released before?

Not to mention most of these figures double as comic figures aswell. Figures that often got back seated for MCU figures when MCU was at its hype.

Yes, some of the X-Men 97 figures are the best versions of these suits so far.

97 Nightcrawler is the closest weve ever gotten to Dave Cockrums original design for the character and his face shadows.

Jean Grey is the best figure of the Jim Lee suit.

Cyclops is the only Jim Lee version with an optic blast.

I even prefer 97 Rogue over the Retro version. (though I still want a Rogue based on the original animated series in neon green)

97 Sunspot is the first figure in the classic New Mutants outfit.

Magneto and Wolverine are pretty good too.

Don't bite yourself. It might hurt.

God, I'm so sick of them only caring about X-Men 97. Can we please get literally any other D+ show figures? Hell I'd even take FNSM at this point.

There was at least one wave of What If? figures. I have Howard, and Ant-Man's head is in a box somewhere. I think I have Nebula with hair in a box somewhere, too. I assume they didn't sell all that well or we'd see more of them. Like my colleague said above, Hasbro is going where the money is.

let's see, it is the best thing to come out of the Disney+ thing for a while, it made NEW fans of hundreds and hundreds of people. It has constantly been wished listed on social media and more. It is an x-men property...... Dude.... Hasbro is just going where the money is.

that may be for the second series. According to the rumors there are a few repeats in the next wave so I'm assuming that the second series will have new designs. Maybe a feral design for Wolverine or something.

I preordered Made To Order Mephisto first day it went up on Hasbro Pulse... same as I did last year with Made To Order Dragon Man... speaking of which..I got notification from Hasbro that Dragon Man will be shipping in a couple days.. knowing Hasbro ..we should have Dragon Man in a week .as far as Hasbro making some things more "EXCLUSIVE".. after seeing multiple videos over the last couple years about how so many Marvel Legends were showing up at Ollie's..or other discount stores..I don't blame Hasbro for cutting back on production of certain figures..& making less of everything in general ...it's not a good look for ANY business having it's products showing up at discount stores for less than half MSRP .. I wouldn't doubt that many of the ML collectors complaining about "EXCLUSIVITY" are the same ones posting videos laughing about how so many MLs are ending up at Ollie's.. I'm a lifelong NYC resident..& the only Target near me doesn't sell Marvel Legends...& nearest Walmart is in Jersey.. the only place to pick up MLs are comic book stores... but usually at twice the price...so I've bought every ML online,..& never missed a preorder... including Gamerverse Psyloke Thanos 2 Pack... only one.. but as far as scalpers go...it's all part of the game..& I'll never criticize someone for trying to make $$$... especially nowadays

Every line will have it's ups and downs, it's hits and misses. The upcoming Mafex Wolverine from DP&Wolverine? I would say Hasbro's likeness/headsculpt is the better but the mafex nails the suit details, etc. Im not opposed to mixing and matching if the figures look ok together. Many of the Spider-Man 2 gamerverse figures for example I think can pair well with the MCU No Way home figures. The Gamerverse Felicia for example pairs well with Molina Ock and Dafoe Goblin.

I'll probably pass on Mezco Hulk. I was tempted by the Mezco classic spidey. Apparently mezco has a Raimi Spider-man in the works. That might be a bit harder to pass up...but I already have the Legends and Mafex. I do regret missing out on that Mezco Doom which looked amazing. Same with the Reeve Superman they did. Hope that Mezco Hulk is incredible though!

Yes the Mezco Doom is really hard to get he sold out everywhere fast! And I do luckily have the Reeve Superman and it came out great with the likeness and he looks great with Keaton Batman.
