With this year's San Diego Comic Con now behind us we though we would do a recap of things we know plus bring you the latest batch of rumors we think we know and some we kind of know.
Since Comic-Con we saw several new
Marvel Legends waves go up for pre-order including the second wave of
X-Men 97 figures and the first wave of
Magic: The Gathering Wave 1 figures. These are available at places like our sponsors
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth.
As for Marvel Legends August pre-orders we know several
X-Men 97 2-packs will be going up at
HasbroPulse. This includes the
Marvel Legends Pulse Exclusive X-Men 97 Gambit And Rogue 2-Pack (8/14),
Marvel Legends Pule Exclusive X-Men 97 Wolverine And Storm (8/20) and
Marvel Legends Pulse Exclusive X-Men 97 Cyclops And Jean Grey. A date wasn't given yet for that one but likely will go up in the last week of August.
On
August 26 you can expect the
Deadpool And Wolverine Premium Roleplay Wolverine Mask to go up for pre-order at most online retailers.
And folks have also have until
August 26 to place an order for the
Made-To-Pre-Order Marvel Legends Series Marvel’s Mephisto with Infernal Throne on
HasbroPulse. That will ship by
July 1, 2026.
We also have a couple of
Target exclusives coming including the
X-Men Retro Cardback Mystique and
Storm figures. Those likely will be going up in sometime September.
During Hasbro's Comic Con panel they also announced several additional figures but gave no release details. This includes the comic based
Starfox and Champion Of The Universe 2-Pack,
Emperor Doom,
Excalibur Rachel Summers (Dark Phoenix) and
X-Force Feral. The last two will be essential for completing teams Hasbro has been building for several years now.
The showed a
Doop figure which based on rumors I have seen will likely be an accessory for the third
Marvel Maximum Series figure which will be of
Deadpool.
They also revealed comic versions of
World War II Logan and the second figure from the
Crystar Universe, Warbow. Again Hasbro did not give any release details but based on a rumor from
Alex Chen posted back in may on Instagram, these two might be part of a
Build-A-Figure wave that includes the following:
- Comic Based Iron Man Mark 72 Armor
- World War II Era Logan
- Phantom Rider
- Dark Avengers Spider-Man
- Werewolf By Night
- Enchantress
- Crystar Warbow
He had no information about the actual Build-A-Figure, but of Phantom Rider is in fact part of the wave then a
Build-A-Figure of his horse Banshee makes the most logical sense.
While we are on the subject of
RUMORS and
Alex Chen. Around the same time he also suggested we would see several deluxe and 2-packs figures released.
- X-Men Colossus and Kitty Pryde 2-Pack
- X-Men Deluxe Onslaught
- X-Men Deluxe Nimrod
- X-Men Deluxe Lizard
These are all figures we have gotten before so it's not clear how these new ones will differ from previous versios.
He also suggested we will be seeing several new
Hulk themed figures released.
- Smart Hulk
- Red She-Hulk
- Cosmic/Cyborg Hulk
- Abomination
Now Alex isn't the only one with new rumors.
Displaying Model Behavior has also come up with a new list of rumors on his
YouTube channel. Below is a breakdown of those as well as some older rumors he has put out there that have yet to be confirmed. Note in his new video he has some rumors for upcoming Marvel movies including
Spider-Man: Brand New Day and
Avengers: Doomsday. We are leaving those out of this list due to the spoiler nature of them.
So first some of the older rumors we have reported on before but not yet been confirmed or denied.

Note, as I mentioned before the third figure in this line should be
Deadpool. Also Hasbro seemed to possibly hinting to a Maximum Magneto in their Comic-Con interview so I gess we will see on those.
Another
Hulk themed figure is mentioned with
Doc Samson.
Another wave of
Magic The Gathering Marvel Legends figures. We know they plan on doing other Marvel themed Magic card sets after Spider-Man.
- Captain America
- Doom 2099
- Malice (Sue Storm)
- Black Panther
- Holiday Themed Christmas Spider-Man Figure
Hasbro has done holiday themed figures for several years now with their
Star Wars line but this would be the first Marvel one if true.
Except for
Maximum Deadpool, I personally have not yet seen anything to confirm any of the stuff put out their by
Alex of
Displaying Model Behavior. That by know way means they aren't coming, just that I personally have no knowledge to further confirm these rumors and of course we will treat them as RUMOR until Hasbro officially confirms them.
Also other upcoming events to take note of where we will be getting new Marvel Legends reveals.
- NYCC Oct 9-12
- MCM London Oct 24-26
- Pulse-Con (Not Yet Confirmed But Usually in September)
- Hasbro 1027 (On Oct 27 - Again not yet confirmed but has happened last few years)
I am also sure Hasbro will throw in some additional Fan-Streams between now and the end of the year.
Oh and one last thing. It looks like we will be getting some Marvel Legends re-issues later this month likely on August
August 12. We might see the
Cable (Sabu BAF Wave), Power Princess and/or
Marvel 85 Year Anniversary Wolverine. Stay-tuned for more details soon on these.
Im sure Colossus and Kitty Pryde will be the Astonishing versions. But the 90s kid in me wishes it could be their costumes from the later issues of Excalibur.
Going by the rumours list, Uncanny Spider-man, Cardiac, Spidey 2099, Constrictor, Doom 2099 would be must gets. Sadly I'm already expecting Hasbro to screw up on Kurt's and Cardiac's accessories
On 8/2/2025 at 6:47 PM, tarot said:So far we have gotten two versions of the Hulk retro wave. BOTH had Abomination and Smart Hulk. The one Alex did has Cyborg Hulk and Red She-Hulk. The one that DMB did has 2099 Hulk and Doc Samson. Either way it does seem like we are getting a Hulk wave no matter what.
Maybe there will be a Retro Hulk wave and then two separate Retro exclusives
I'm good with about half of the stuff listed and that helps my wallet. If they do a Maximum Thor, then they've finally got me on that line. Mostly anything that hasn't had a previous release, I'm up for. The Secret Wars stuff surprisingly doesn't do much for me but I'll be interested to actually see them. I'll be happy if they re-release Havoc and Polaris, as I missed that the first time.
It's awesome we are getting Wonder Woman custom fodder Imean Power Princess back in stock; it's such a great figure I always felt sad it was hard to get for so many collectors. That Mystique delay is kind of weird, but actually I would wait 1 year more if they scrapped this and used Phoenix torso for added articulation, I would even close my eyes on the fact they are straight up reusing Walgreens head from more than 6 years ago...
On 8/2/2025 at 12:50 PM, tarot said:DMB also mentioned a 2099 Hulk as well. He did mention the Smart Hulk and Abomination so maybe there is more then four like we thought.
For the Secret Wars wave- I would not mind another classic all red suit of DareDevil. I like the Champion and Starfox 2 pack that's a must have for me. I also don't mind a new updated Absorbing man and Constrictor- who is way over due! I hope the Thor maximum figure if it will indeed be another in the line, is based off of the 2013 BAF Terrax figure- I'd love an updated suit to that one. Hulk deluxe series sounds amazing- I'd love the Doc Samson and maybe Abomination if they do this one right. Doc better be amazing.

I can't travel all the way to Comic Con, so I hope Hasbro will post these figures for sale on the website, possibly give a time so that we can all have a chance to get the set....Oh wait....
Wrong topic mate.
Secret wars wave 2 is. Incredible
I'd like a three pack with Sauron and Savage Land Rogue and Shanna. I can't travel all the way to Comic Con, so I hope Hasbro will post these figures for sale on the website, possibly give a time so that we can all have a chance to get the set....Oh wait....
From the confirmed list, I'm passing on everything. From the rumors tho...
If WBN is from the special, I'd instantly buy it (unless it's in BnW)
Banshee would be cool since I always like 1:12 animals, but I can't buy a whole wave for that
Abomination if it were MCU (She Hulk or Shang Chi) I'd buy it instantly too.
X23 could be a cool figure, but I'd wait it out a bit
Cassandra Nova on the other hand is another insta buy.
The Void and Val 2-pack would be in my radar. I want a Void, not sure on a Val, but depending on accessories, I could be swayed (maybe alt pieces for Sentry)
I'm still hopeful for more MCU figure updates like Death, Wiccan, Hood, Muse, OB... and plenty others from older movies that we still haven't gotten
