Marvel To Select Joseph Gordon Levitt Or Paul Rudd For 'Ant-Man' Role

Sources have informed Variety that Marvel have come down to two actors as front-runners to land the title role in Edgar Wright’s superhero feature "Ant-Man." Marvel will decide between Joseph Gordon Levitt and Paul Rudd but there's still a remote possibility another actor could emerge but as of now, Gordon-Levitt and Rudd are the main contenders for the film.

Both actors are expected to meet with Marvel and Wright one more time before a decision is made or if Marvel and Wright decide to keep looking for another actor. Walt Disney Pictures has scheduled a July 31st, 2015 release for the film, which was written by Wright and Joe Cornish.
