So last year after the popularity of Mark Ruffalo's Hulk character began to rise from his performance on Avengers, someone somewhere started a rumor on the Internet that Marvel and Disney were looking to do a new Hulk solo movie that would be based on the "Planet Hulk" comic book storyline. The rumor was quickly debunked by Avengers Director Joss Whedon himself who said the rumor was "nonsense."
So despite the rumor being squashed over a year ago, the folks at
MTV decided to bring it up again, this time with Ruffalo himself asking him what the likelihood of a "Planet Hulk" movie was, his response was as follows:
“I don’t think ['Planet Hulk'] is the way to go yet,” he said. “I think you need more Banner. The whole thing is just him as Hulk, on a planet, fighting other gladiators.”
In other Marvel news, the folks at Cinefilos.it have posted another Avengers: Age Of Ultron on-set video. Though nothing major happens I suppose would should give the ol' minor SPOILERS warning.
The video shows what appears to be Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) shooting some kind of green-screen scene somewhere in Italy, Aosta perhaps. In the scene she seems to be using her Mutant powers against an unknown CGI adversary, possibly Ultron or one of Ultron's minions. As I mention the video doesn't really reveal much and is a bit long but you have to admit that themusic effects provided by whoever shot the video makes for a nice added touch.
The second Avengers movie is slated to open on May 1st, 2015.
