Thano...I Mean Josh Brolin To Play Cable In Deadpool 2

Word has finally come out after months and months of rumors about who will be playing the role of Cable in the upcoming Deadpool sequel. According to Variety it will be actor Josh Brolin. Now for many Marvel fans that name might be sounding real familiar. The reason for that is, he also plays the role of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Michael Shannon was apparently the front runner for the role, but Marvel and Fox opted to go this route instead. The Deadpool sequel is being directed by David Leitch with Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as the wisecracking mercenary. The story will be expanding to include other characters from Deadpool's corner of Marvel’s X-Men universe. Zazie Beetz is already cast as the super-powered merc named Domino. A specific release date for this movie has yet to be announced.
