According to
Variety, for those not wanting to go see
Shang-Chi: And The Legend Of The Ten Rings in movie theaters, you won't have wait long until it gets a home release. To be exact you will have to wait 45 days from it's September 3 theatrical release.
Before Covid, the industry standard was a 90-days exclusive viewing in theaters before a movie would see home release. As people have become spoiled during COVID of being able to watch a movie as soon at it premiers at home, I wouldn't be surprised if that 45 day grace period continues to shrink more and more.
Black Widow which is the next MCU movie to debut will be released on July 9 simultaneously at theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access. If more people choose to watch the movie at home than in theaters, that right there might be the Endgame for movie theaters as we know them.
