If I had to speculate. And that is my forte. I would say he'll probably make it back in flashbacks from the movie or maybe some footage that didn't make it into the movies as some kind of motivational words for RiRi on her way to becoming a hero. They sure aren't going to spend RDJ money on some Disney+ show that could possibly bomb. If history serves any purpose.
Then again it is Disney so we never know. If anyone can help it would be Tony Stark.
Yeah good, his death was glorious (I know Morbid right?) it was such a great send off for the character, for them to undue that for some money making would be such a travesty, I mean sure it wouldn't be weird or out of left field to have him return for some cameos as A.I., but RDJ is an expensive cameo, and should be handled with some flare, doesn't need to be splashed all over, but maybe in like Armour wars and Iron Heart he can be an A.I. for a bit, but don't have it a mainstay thing, either way keep him dead, it was too "epic" of an end, don't treat it lightly.
They will bring him back but not sooner than 2028-2030 closer to 30th anniversary of Iron Man movie.
I thought they might bring him back as an AI hologram like in the comics for a bit. But that would be very expensive for an Ironheart show. Maybe in Armor Wars. His statement doesn't actually doesn't rule this out. I don't really want RDJ to come back, not cause I don't like him, just would cheapen his death even in hologram form. Like people have been saying.

Which of course in Feige Speak means of course RDJ's Iron Man will be back. Can't wait. Though it's just a Band-Aid at this point.

Good. It would ruin a perfect end to his and cap's story. IF they were to do it it would be alt universe during secret wars but even then, I don't want it.
Death is already cheap in comics, no need to do the same in the movies as well
Yeah, there's simply no way to bring him back without cheapening Tony's death. It's one of the things that tainted Black Widow--telling the back story AFTER she is gone, makes all the peril and drama kind of pointless. One of the basic tenets of storytelling is to say what you want to say, get to the end, and then STOP. And then leave it alone.
Im surprised that people wanted him brought back. Dont get me wrong, he did a great job, but if you want to suck all meaning out of his martyr death, bring him back to life like everything is all hunky dory. It would completely defeat the purpose of what he did in Endgame. Plus I do think it was time that someone else got the chance to be the glue holding the MCU together. I thought they were trying to go that route with Doctor Strange picking up that mantle, but I am not completely certain that is the case. It is hard to tell what the heck the MCU is trying to do nowadays
For the best. Some sagas can come to an end.
