The FOX network has signed on Bryan Singer to direct the pilot episode of Fox’s untitled Marvel series about mutants on the run. This comes after FOX decided to go ahead with the pilot for its planned live-action X-Men series.
The series will focuses on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
The pilot will be scripted by Matt Nix, who serves as executive producer with Jeph Loeb and Bryan Singer.
